A few weeks ago Vapor4Life launched another new product, the V4L Dial-A-Volt (DAV for short). I’ve tested these for the past few weeks, and so far have been very happy with the findings. The tests have been an ongoing process, with each battery size (650, 900, 1100, 1300mAh) being monitored with the following cartomizers:

As I approach the two-year mark of my switch from analogs to vaping, I can’t help but notice how different the ecig world is now from what it was then. This isn’t a bad thing by any means, just somewhat shocking when you think about how far it’s progressed.

C rating, amp limits, and you

I’ve covered this topic a few times on the forum, but never here on the blog. Before the latest additions of the OMG line, it wasn’t something that really needed to be covered. Every battery has three ratings, nominal voltage (in the case of lithium cobalt and lithium manganese 3.7v), milliamp hour (mAh or milliamps per hour), and c rating. Most people are somewhat familiar with the first two, but not the last (c rating).

V4L Dial-A-Volt – the latest in vaping equipment

If you haven’t heard of the V4L Dial-A-Volt yet, you might want to consider getting out once in a while! Vapor4Life introduced this battery just a few days ago, and it’s already become a lot of vapers new favorite mod. This KR808D-1 electronic cigarette is similar to the EGO, but the V4L Dial-A-Volt allows the user to select their preferred level of voltage by twisting a thin dial on the bottom of the device. It can be adjusted to run between 3.3 to 4.8 volts.

That was in June 2011. She’s come a long way since then and is now one of the vaping experts.
