3 Hacks To Make Menu Planning A Snap
You know how they say don’t go to the grocery store when you are hungry because who knows what you will buy? Well, that is usually how I shop, so that I come home with food, but very few actual meals. For 2015, one of my resolutions was to eat better and that starts with shopping better. So as with many things, I looked to technology to find a menu-planning app that would get me on my way.
Here are our Favorite 3 Menu Planning Apps
Cook Smarts –
This is more than just a shopping list; it is an entire cooking plan for your entire life. From menus to online cooking classes, this app lets you set your eating habits (including specialized diets such as Paleo, vegetarian, etc.…) and gives you the recipes and shopping lists needed to stick to your plan. The app does have an $8 a month subscription charge.
This unique app allows you to import your own recipes. Once you import your recipes and select what you want to make during the week, Pepperplate will then create a customized shopping list. This app is free and works on most mobile devices and tablets.
This easy to use app is free, but there is a monthly subscription cost as low as $5 a month. The App will allow you to design your own menu, based on your dietary needs and will then set up your shopping list. What makes this plan unique is that if you shop at one of its partner stores, it will automatically pick items that on sale at that particular store that week.
