For those who might not be aware, the FDA just took another step closer to potential regulation of menthol cigarettes with their latest study. It cites that their minty taste makes it easier for people to start smoking. Menthol cigarettes account for one third of tobacco sales in the US.

Vapor4Life’s New Automatic Dial-A-Volt Battery

Vapor4Life's New Automatic Dial-A-Volt Battery

Available in 4 sizes and 4 colors

Recently Vapor4Life released the last three sizes and colors of their auto Dial-A-Volt (DAV) line. (When it first came out, it was only available in black 1100mAh). The first thing that stands out about this DAV is the lack of a button. For the auto lovers of the vaping world  this is one-of-a-kind pv, seeing as there are currently no other automatic variable voltage devices on the market of any type. It is a “sealed” auto connection, but one without any of the kinks of some of the previous “sealed autos”. There’s been no switch or draw issues to speak of. In fact the draw is much like that of a Vapor King Diamond Manual (in other words very analog-like), and the switch is as responsive as the unsealed auto King Diamonds of old. I haven’t had a single issue of lag or needing to take a very hard draw to activate it.

V4L’s Vapor Zeus

Vapor Zeus Dual Mode Starter Kit

This is a guest blog post by Morandir.

For almost the entire time I’ve been a V4L customer, Smilin sir has been working on a fixed 5v batt. Today all that work has finally come to fruition. There’s been many pitfalls in the journey of the Vapor Zeus, the first working prototypes were made over a year ago. The only problem being that they could never duplicate the success of the original, which lead to another long delay. More prototypes came, and finally after a few tries, the final product. Smileomizer Tech Info and Review

This is a guest post by Morandir835.

Since Vapor4Life released the Smileomizer last week, I can finally give up some of the technical info I’ve sat on for a while (since I got back from Chicago). The first thing you’ll notice about these cartos is the drip tip. It’s a completely different design, technically two parts, and only compatible with the Smileomizer. The first part is the metal base that screws on the carto, the second is a high-grade silicon cover that goes over it. In the end what you get is a true cigar-like experience from the drip tip. You can easily chew on it, yet it is rigid enough so that you can hold it in your mouth without issue.

This is a guest post written by Morandir835, an e-cig enthusiast, admin on the Vapor4Life forum, and a regular on their ECF sub forum.

For the past few months there’s been a lot of talk on ECF, Facebook, and the V4L Forum on the future plans of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) about ecigs. There is only speculation at this point, but there are only a few real possible outcomes:

The joys of being a vaping mentor

For ecig vendors the new year is always one of their busiest times. Quite a few people make the new year’s resolution to switch from analogs. This means there’s a high influx of new vapers at the start of each year. What it also means is there are more new people joining the forums or any social media outlet to find out all they can and make the right decision with their first foray into vaping.

Congrats to Morandir on his two year vaperversary

This is a guest post written by Morandir835, an e-cig enthusiast, admin on the Vapor4Life forum, and a regular on their ECF sub forum.

I celebrated my two-year vaperversary on December 23. With year one it truly felt like a special day of celebration. I’m not sure if it’s due to work, or how crazy my life has been lately, but this one lacked that feeling. If you don’t know me and my story from the forums, I’ll explain how I got into vaping in the first place.
