A few weeks ago Vapor4Life launched another new product, the V4L Dial-A-Volt (DAV for short). I’ve tested these for the past few weeks, and so far have been very happy with the findings. The tests have been an ongoing process, with each battery size (650, 900, 1100, 1300mAh) being monitored with the following cartomizers:

Changes in the ecig industry

This is a guest post written by Morandir835, an e-cig enthusiast, admin on the Vapor4Life forum, and a regular on their ECF sub forum.

As I approach the two-year mark of my switch from analogs to vaping, I can’t help but notice how different the ecig world is now from what it was then. This isn’t a bad thing by any means, just somewhat shocking when you think about how far it’s progressed.

C rating, amp limits, and you

OMG All Day

This is a guest post written by Morandir835, an e-cig enthusiast, admin on the Vapor4Life forum, and a regular on their ECF sub forum.

I’ve covered this topic a few times on the forum, but never here on the blog. Before the latest additions of the OMG line, it wasn’t something that really needed to be covered. Every battery has three ratings, nominal voltage (in the case of lithium cobalt and lithium manganese 3.7v), milliamp hour (mAh or milliamps per hour), and c rating. Most people are somewhat familiar with the first two, but not the last (c rating).

I’m quickly approaching my two-year mark of being a vaper. One thing you’ll realize after you’ve been vaping a while is you build up a large amount of personal vaporizers and items you either used once and didn’t like, or have simply moved on from. This applies especially to people who have moved up to mods. Instead of just letting them become dust gatherers there’s actually a few things you can do with them.

Mod Advice For Vapers

This is a guest post written by Morandir835, an e-cig enthusiast, admin on the Vapor4Life forum, and a regular on their ECF sub forum.

Now that Vapor4Life is carrying multiple mods, I think a quick education course is due. There is a lot of talk about various mods in both the V4L forum and on ECF (Electronic Cigarette Forum), but for those who don’t frequent those forums this information will be useful.

V4L Handle Mod

This is a guest post written by Morandir835, an e-cig enthusiast, admin on the Vapor4Life forum, and a regular on their ECF sub forum.

Vapor4Life let me test their new V4L Handle mod before it was officially released. As you can see from the picture, this a box mod type variety, with the firing button on the top opposite of the connector (808 threaded). On the side is a power button which also has a few other functions, and a plus and minus button for the voltage.

Vapercon 2 (Part 2 of 2)

Richmond, Virginia Flag

This is a guest post written by Morandir835, an e-cig enthusiast, admin on the Vapor4Life forum, and a regular on their ECF sub forum.

Continued from Vapercon 2 (Part 1)

After lunch Miss Emma, Ms. Bjfgator, my wife and I returned to Vapercon, bellies full and with a few adult beverages in our system. While it was busy before we left for lunch, it was nothing compared to what we walked back into. The room was completely packed to a point where there was no real room to maneuver. Trying to talk to the least active vendor took 10 minutes of waiting in front of their table. It had gotten to a point where many people were just waiting at the tables in front of the convention area entrance, on the stairs, in the lobby, and even outside the hotel to get some fresh air.

Vapercon 2 Part 1 of 2

This is a guest post written by Morandir835, an e-cig enthusiast, admin on the Vapor4Life forum, and a regular on their ECF sub forum.

Last year’s Vapercon in Virginia was the first time I got to meet some of the key people of V4L. I was really looking forward to seeing them again this year, but sadly some things got in the way and V4L decided not to go to. So while V4L as a company wasn’t there, quite a few of its customers from the area as well as myself were. I missed Friday due to work constraints (along with having no one able to watch our dogs), but luckily had intel all day from forum members who were there. Luckily they were there both days so I got to spend the Saturday with them.

Morandir’s Top 3 WOW E-Liquid Picks

WOW CinnaBerry Juice

As I said in my blog post about Peach Breeze, although I’ve reviewed many, I’m not a big fan of reviewing juices. It’s the ‘taste is subjective’ aspect that always seems to get in the way. I do want to touch up though on three of my favorite juices thus far in the new WOW Juice line up. I will also be getting into some technical aspects.
