6ml Dual Coil Metal Tank- 808D Style

This is a guest post written by Morandir835, an e-cig enthusiast, admin on the Vapor4Life forum, and a regular on their ECF sub forum.

I’ve spent a lot of time putting every battery in my possession through the wringer. I’ve used dual coil cartos on them (mind you this used to be a big no-no for “stick” batts), low resistance cartos, and chain vaped them like nobody’s business. What I’ve learned from it all are a few key points.

Batteries

V4L’s Vapor King Diamond and Stealth series batteries can take more punishment than any other batt of comparable size. Save for batt life, these beat out the fat batts and a few of the lower end non-variable voltage/high voltage mods on the market in their voltage holding capabilities. With proper care you can get 300+ charges out of these batteries, which is not bad for something that costs under $30.

Tanks

The tanks V4L carries are some of the best tanks on the market in terms of durability, ease of use, and price. I was recently gifted a very high-priced rare tank, and while it looks pretty, I have to punch my own cartos, use standard sized ones, and it has a few leak issues. I wouldn’t even dare trying to use a high mint (cinnamon specifically) juice in it for fear of breaking the tank. The V4L metal capped tanks are made with a material that can handle the higher mint content juices without cracking. The fact that they offer a range of ohms and coil set ups for the replacement cartos is a major plus as well.

CoolCarts

Cartos

Out of the hundreds of V4L WOW cartos and CoolCarts (cartomizers) I’ve gone through, just 1.5% came dead on arrival (the carto didn’t work fresh out of the box). I can get an average of 7-8 refills out of them depending on what juice I’m using (juices with a higher VG concentration will kill a carto faster than one with more PG). The ohm range is a little wide on both (2.1 to 2.7 on WOW cartos, 3.0 to 3.7 on CoolCarts), but they’re pretty consistent with their averages (2.3ohm for WOWs and 3.3ohm for CoolCarts).

The features that shine through the most in all my tests is simplicity, durability and ease of use.

  1. I still use my original pink magenta manual xl diamond. It has been dropped more times than I care to admit. In the beginning, I only had a couple of batteries so it was being charged at least twice a day the first few months. I added a few more batteries and my pink one became part of my loaner set to introduce my friends to vaping. I still use it and it is still going strong. I would say it has seen over 200 charges during its 6 months with me. My friends who have tried other brands are always in awe of the quality and beautiful colors of my V4L batts. I will say that I follow Snow’s battery cleaning recommendations religiously and that has probably added to the life expectancy of all my batteries. Hats off to V4L for a quality product!
