Oktoberfest Chicago Vapor4Life Recap
Vapor4Life just attended a Chicago street fest this past weekend. Oktoberfest took place Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in the Lakeview and Lincoln Park neighborhoods. Several people from Vapor4Life helped to explain electronic cigarettes to festival-goers including Bham (Brandon), Vicky, Bobby, Brian, Kevin, Joe, and Scott.
It was perfect weather – not too hot, not too cold, and sunny! We were able to wear our new Vapor4Life “Smokers Wanted” t-shirts and not have to cover them up with layers of warm clothes! Saturday was the busiest day. The Vapor4Life booth was set up right across from one of the beer tents. The guys working there were a rowdy bunch, who really
got the crowd pumped up by their playful shouting and persuasive gestures to get customers.
A lot of different bands played like ‘Stache, Wedding Banned, Dot Dot Dot, and 16 Candles. On Sunday, the festival organizers had a jumbotron playing the football games. Oktoberfest celebrates Germany, and Okotberfest had plenty of food vendors selling pretzels, beer, and brats. Some of the delicious eats were from Cevapcici Chicago, Emma’s Cookie Kitchen (delicious root beer floats), and Chicago’s Original Schnitzel King.
Some of the other vendors were selling the typical street fair ware such as jewelry, clothes, purses, incense, children’s toys, masks, knick knacks, and hats.
This event is one of our last ones for the season. Hopefully we’ll see you at another festival (inside) or next year! You can see more photos from Oktoberfest on our Facebook Page.
