How to fix an ecig battery

Battery broken? If your ecig isn’t working, this could be very annoying. You might be out and about, with just one batt, or you have a spare, but it’s not charged. Ah fret not my fellow vapers. If your batt isn’t working, there are a few things you should try doing before throwing your hands up in frustration. Here’s a checklist for you:

Should I get the Dial-A-Volt or Vapor Zeus?

A lot of people ask me, “should I get the Vapor Zeus or Dial-A-Volt?” I usually say both, because they are totally different and both revolutionary in their own way. If you have to choose one, then I hope when you’re done reading this you’ll have enough info to decide. Both our Vapor Zeus and Dial-A-Volt batteries come in two versions – manual and auto. Actually the Vapor Zeus Dual Mode – get this – has BOTH options. Very cool. These batteries have a soft touch, just like our Vapor Titan stick batts. They come in 5 colors (black, blue, cigar, green, and magenta). Both the Zeus and DAV are available in 808 and 510 threading, and will work with Smileomizers. The main differences between the Zeus and Dial-A-Volt is that the Zeus can be used as a passthrough, and the DAV’s voltage can be adjusted.

Vapor4Life’s New Automatic Dial-A-Volt Battery

Vapor4Life's New Automatic Dial-A-Volt Battery

Available in 4 sizes and 4 colors

Recently Vapor4Life released the last three sizes and colors of their auto Dial-A-Volt (DAV) line. (When it first came out, it was only available in black 1100mAh). The first thing that stands out about this DAV is the lack of a button. For the auto lovers of the vaping world  this is one-of-a-kind pv, seeing as there are currently no other automatic variable voltage devices on the market of any type. It is a “sealed” auto connection, but one without any of the kinks of some of the previous “sealed autos”. There’s been no switch or draw issues to speak of. In fact the draw is much like that of a Vapor King Diamond Manual (in other words very analog-like), and the switch is as responsive as the unsealed auto King Diamonds of old. I haven’t had a single issue of lag or needing to take a very hard draw to activate it.

Happy National (ECig) Battery Day

Today is National Battery Day. So of course Vapor4Life is celebrating this grand holiday! We are after all, in the business of ecigs. And as we all know one of the two main components of an ecig is the battery. In honor of this day we are devoting this blog post to – you’ve guessed it – batteries!

There are a ton of different battery types. There’s manual and automatic; “female” and “male”; “sticks” and fat batts; colored and patterned; different tip ends; and sizes. It’s a good idea to try many different battery types to decide what will work best for you.

V4L Dial-A-Volt – the latest in vaping equipment

Available in magenta, blue, black, and green

If you haven’t heard of the V4L Dial-A-Volt yet, you might want to consider getting out once in a while! Vapor4Life introduced this battery just a few days ago, and it’s already become a lot of vapers new favorite mod. This KR808D-1 electronic cigarette is similar to the EGO, but the V4L Dial-A-Volt allows the user to select their preferred level of voltage by twisting a thin dial on the bottom of the device. It can be adjusted to run between 3.3 to 4.8 volts.

Differences Between Ash Cap, Diamond and Stealth

Ash cap, Diamond, Stealth

An electronic cigarette is composed of a battery and a cartomizer. The most common type of ecigarette battery that you will see people using in public is the ‘stick’ battery. These batteries are skinny and of all the kinds of electronic cigarettes, look most similar to an analog (especially white ones) – when compared to ‘mods’. Each stick battery has one end that is threaded and screws onto a cartomizer. The other end has one of three options: ash cap, stealth, or diamond.

Mod Advice For Vapers

This is a guest post written by Morandir835, an e-cig enthusiast, admin on the Vapor4Life forum, and a regular on their ECF sub forum.

Now that Vapor4Life is carrying multiple mods, I think a quick education course is due. There is a lot of talk about various mods in both the V4L forum and on ECF (Electronic Cigarette Forum), but for those who don’t frequent those forums this information will be useful.

Vapor4Life carries several KR808D-1 “stick” (skinny) batteries. There are the Classic VK batteries, with ash cap ends. The next batteries released were the Original Vapor King batteries. These come in both Diamond Series (with a bejeweled, multi-faceted LED tip), and Stealth Series (no LED on the tip). The most recent Vapor4Life-branded batteries are the Vapor Titan, also available in Diamond and Stealth.

Differences between automatic and manual e-cig batteries

Isn’t an ecig battery just an ecig battery? Well, no not at all. There are tons of different types, styles, sizes, and designs. While they all do the same thing – create the power needed to turn e-liquid into vapor – there are many different kinds. Today we are focusing on one aspect of electronic cigarettes – the switch that makes the battery work.
