Silly? Yes, but true!

Pretty In Pink

Do you match your V4L ecig gear to the outfit you’re wearing? I try to. If I’m wearing a pink t-shirt and my pink Red Sox cap, you can bet I’m rocking a pink V4L battery with a pink drip tip and carrying my extras in a pink case. The pink batteries are my favorite so I have a few different pink tops and t-shirts to wear with them.

ECigs vs. Traditional Cigs

Most people who switch from using traditional cigarettes (analogs) to using electronic cigarettes (e-cigs) are able to do so easily because the products are very similar. Here are two lists pointing out the similarities and differences between them:

V4L’s smokeout event was a great success!

Yesterday was the 36th annual Great American Smokeout. Vapor4Life celebrated by hosting a free event to the public. We offered an electronic cigarette in exchange for a pack of traditional analogs. The event was a great way for us to showcase our brand new Smokeless Lounge and store. Normally open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, we expanded our hours yesterday an extra three hours. We wanted to make sure that as many people as possible who wanted to come in, would have the chance to, whatever their work schedule might be. There was a steady flow of customers throughout the day. In total 70 people attended.

With Over 150 Different Flavors, Where Do I Start?

This is a guest post written by Keyzygirl from Key West, Florida. Laid back and vaping in paradise.

Electronic cigarettes are made of two parts – a rechargeable battery and a cartomizer (also known as a carto). The carto is the disposable part, which has nicotine (optional) and flavoring. Cartos come in two forms – pre-filled, or blank. The pre-filled cartos are ready to use right away. If you buy blank cartos, you also need to get e-liquid (juice), and then fill the cartos with the juice.

I am simply amazed at the flavor selection available to vapers. When I smoked cigarettes, I had just one brand, and was used to the same taste for years. Now I have tons of choices with more being added all the time. Continue reading

Hello everyone! My name is Steve, you may have seen me around the internet writing about e-cigarettes on my blog or on ECF under the user name ‘StotheK.’ That’s S to the K, which is a play on my initials S.K.

Ooooh oooh that smell. Can’t you smell that smell?

“Well actually no, no I can’t smell that smell. I’m not smoking, I’m vaping.”

The famous philosopher Immanuel Kant theorized that people’s knowledge of the outside world depends on how we perceive things. Back in 1760 this proposition was unheard of. Now it just makes sense (pun intended).

Coming out to my Mom…about E-cigs

This is a guest post written by Clover, a college student and vapaholic from the Midwest.

My parents never approved of my smoking. Not many parents would, I guess, but it really didn’t sit well with mine. When I started vaping I didn’t even tell them. I was afraid they had only heard the bad press. Whenever I would visit them I would chain vape the forty-five minute drive to their house and only vape in their bathroom. I wanted them to notice that I didn’t smell anymore without having to tell them why. It wasn’t until seven months into my vaping journey that I finally came out about my secret.

How I Went From Occasional Smoker, To Occasional Vaper

How It All Began
Like many, I began smoking my freshman year of college. It was the first time that I had the freedom to do what I pleased, without needing permission from my parents. A lot of people at college smoked. It looked cool. It felt cool. I liked how smoking made me feel. I started by casually having a cigarette here or there, taking one from a friend if they offered. The single smoke here or there quickly became an addiction. It didn’t take long before I started buying my own packs. Some nights I would find myself smoking the last cigarette in a pack I’d bought that very morning.
