Every industry has their own lingo that people use to communicate, including the electronic cigarette industry. There is a lot of jargon used by people who use personal vaporizers. Some terms are self-explanatory, such as manual, automatic, battery, center post, flavor, LED tip, throat hit, cartridge, vapor, juice, and nicotine strength. Continue reading

Let’s Talk About Juice, Baby.
Alright, you’ve got your favorite handy-dandy V4L Diamond battery, the Slim Chargers, the Drip Tips, and all the other gadgetry. Now what? So many juice choices! Where to start? There’s USA juice, WOW juice, Premium juice, and VG juice. What does that all mean? Well different PG/VG ratios for starters, but I’m no techie. For me it’s about taste, throat hit, and vapor production. Flavor is most important to me, next being throat hit, and vapor production is least important, although I do love clouds! When I started out, I tried all the sampler packs. Pre-filled cartos are a good way to get an idea for a flavor, but the true flavor is in the juice. So when I would try a flavor I liked, I would buy the bottle. There is definitely a difference between pre-filled and filling your own with bottled juice. I highly recommend filling your own cartos with your favorite juices. Your taste buds will thank you! Continue reading
vaping in paradise.
I think most vapers have an addictive personality. This probably isn’t too
surprising, since we’re all addicted to either nicotine or the hand-to-mouth simulation e-cigarettes provide (or both). We need to get our fix. I admit that I am just as bad as anyone else.

An E-Liquid Discussion
Cartos contain e-liquid (also known as liquid or juice), which is what you taste when using an electronic cigarette. Cartos can come pre-filled with liquid already in them, or blank – to fill with liquid yourself. If you’re new to vaping, it can be confusing to decide which type of liquid to use. There are two main areas to consider; what you’re looking for in a liquid and if you have any sensitivity to the ingredients in it. Most liquids contain PG (propylene glycol), VG (vegetable glycerin), flavoring and nicotine. PG and VG are used in many food products.
Yesterday was the 36th annual Great American Smokeout. Vapor4Life celebrated by hosting a free event to the public. We offered an electronic cigarette in exchange for a pack of traditional analogs. The event was a great way for us to showcase our brand new Smokeless Lounge and store. Normally open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, we expanded our hours yesterday an extra three hours. We wanted to make sure that as many people as possible who wanted to come in, would have the chance to, whatever their work schedule might be. There was a steady flow of customers throughout the day. In total 70 people attended.
You may think it is confusing or hard to try vaping, but it is actually an exciting and enjoyable process. Vaping is different for everyone, but that is what makes it fun. There are numerous tips to help you choose delicious flavors that satisfy your nicotine craving the way your cigarettes do.

When I began vaping I gave myself the chance to try as many flavors as I could. I wanted to set myself up for success and find my “go-to flavor.” Plus, I was flat-out curious how it would be to vape certain tastes. I purchased many sampler packs, from coffee flavors to desserts, and menthols to tobacco-flavored. One group that I could never really get into was the fruits. I gravitated toward the others.
Finding That Perfect Flavor
When I first started vaping I had the tendency to try as many flavors as possible. At the time Vapor4Life only had four flavors so this was easy to do. We quickly added several more flavors and now have more than 150. As I got into my vaping groove, I found that I tend to pick one flavor and stick with it. The flavor has changed over time, but I find that I’m always reaching for my ‘go-to flavor.’
Creature of Habit
I’m the type of guy that when I find something I like, I tend to stick with it. At the restaurants that I frequent, I usually find a favorite on the menu and order it every day. Once, over a three-week stretch, I ate tuna salad subs every day. For me, this translates naturally to vaping. Whatever my ‘go-to flavor’ is at any given time will definitely be found in my cartomizer.
After the initial phase of trying many flavors, I settled into tobacco flavors. After a while that too became boring and my new ‘go-to flavor’ became Caramel Mocha Frappe. I vaped it all day all the time. Then V4L started adding WOW flavors and
I found some new favorites.
The Wowboy Days
The first flavor in V4L’s WOW line was Wowboy. The first time I tried Wowboy, I did not particularly care for it. But as it happens with many things, it started to grow on me. We began selling it and people raved about it. I tried it a few more times, and one day it just hit me that it really was a great flavor. It was like a switch going off in my head. The flavor was well balanced with a bit of tobacco, a sweet chocolaty hint, and just a touch of mint on the finish. There is a reason why it is our best selling flavor, it really does just hit the spot.
Changing It Up
I vaped Wowboy every single day exclusively for about six months. One day I decided I needed a change. We had just gotten a shipment of some new flavors including WOW Waffle. I instantly fell in love. Waffle became my new all day, everyday vape. After about a month, I picked up Wowboy again and instantly remembered why I loved it. I picked up again the old habit of carrying multiple flavors with me every day. I’d rotate through them during the day, even mixing in new flavors here and there. Choice is one of the great things about vaping. There are so many great flavors that you can vape a new flavor every week for almost the entire year. When was the last time you heard a smoker say that?
During the past month I have been rotating between the Nobacco USA Juice flavors. My two favorites are Java Mint and Beach Bum, but give me a few weeks and I’m sure I’ll be onto something else. I do tend to rotate flavors more now, but I will always have my ‘go-to flavor.’ It’s like that old, holey pair of jeans, the more you wear them, the more comfortable they get.
Until next time…VAPE ON!
