5 Things to be Grateful for this Winter

This is a guest post written by Michelle, who loves writing, vaping, and testing new products.

Winter was the worst time to be a smoker. I find myself reflecting on last year around this time, and am so grateful for being an ex-smoker! See if you can relate:

Most people who switch from using traditional cigarettes (analogs) to using electronic cigarettes (e-cigs) are able to do so easily because the products are very similar. Here are two lists pointing out the similarities and differences between them:

Tales of a Closet Vaper

This is a guest post written by Joyce B., an emergency management professional who has been enjoying Vapor4Life products for just over a year.

I was always a closet smoker. I never smoked in front of my parents, my children, or most of my family. Some think that’s silly and I have to admit, I do too. Since I’ve been vaping, I’ve been more acutely aware of how much cigarette smoke leaves behind, long after the smoker is finished. However, I was always one to carefully air out, and I have had nonsmoking friends tell me that they have never smelled cigarette smoke on me. Nonetheless, I’m sure the telltale remnants were there. It was just not a topic I wanted up for debate, hence, the concealment.

V4L’s smokeout event was a great success!

Yesterday was the 36th annual Great American Smokeout. Vapor4Life celebrated by hosting a free event to the public. We offered an electronic cigarette in exchange for a pack of traditional analogs. The event was a great way for us to showcase our brand new Smokeless Lounge and store. Normally open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, we expanded our hours yesterday an extra three hours. We wanted to make sure that as many people as possible who wanted to come in, would have the chance to, whatever their work schedule might be. There was a steady flow of customers throughout the day. In total 70 people attended.

Ooooh oooh that smell. Can’t you smell that smell?

“Well actually no, no I can’t smell that smell. I’m not smoking, I’m vaping.”

The famous philosopher Immanuel Kant theorized that people’s knowledge of the outside world depends on how we perceive things. Back in 1760 this proposition was unheard of. Now it just makes sense (pun intended).

How I Went From Occasional Smoker, To Occasional Vaper

How It All Began
Like many, I began smoking my freshman year of college. It was the first time that I had the freedom to do what I pleased, without needing permission from my parents. A lot of people at college smoked. It looked cool. It felt cool. I liked how smoking made me feel. I started by casually having a cigarette here or there, taking one from a friend if they offered. The single smoke here or there quickly became an addiction. It didn’t take long before I started buying my own packs. Some nights I would find myself smoking the last cigarette in a pack I’d bought that very morning.
