VapeBash 3: Chicago’s e-cigarette convention

Crowd from the first VapeBash

It’s almost time for VapeBash‘s third annual vape meet! This Friday and Saturday, April 11-12, VapeBash will take over the Westin O’Hare in Rosemont, Illinois. The Windy City Vapers Club produces this event every year to celebrate all things vaping. This event is super fun. If you discuss e-cigs on ECF, other forums, and in Facebook groups, it’s really fun to meet the people in real life (IRL) who you only know online. At the first VapeBash I met a lot of customers who I’d talked to on ECF, but never actually met in person.

My experience at VaperCon 2013

This is a guest post by Morandir835.

This has been one of the hardest blogs to write. Even now almost two weeks later it’s still hard to put into words how great of an experience VaperCon was. It had almost nothing to do with the items being sold (I only bought one item while I was there – a very limited run mod), but with the people themselves. I have been to all three VaperCons that have taken place thus far. Continue reading

Upcoming Vapercon 2013

This was written by guest blogger, Morandir.

One of the best ways to meet fellow vapers in person are conventions. There’s quite a few of them around the country held throughout the year. There’s far more to them than just the buying and selling of multiple PVs (personal vaporizers) from vendors around the country, it’s where vapers get to interact with each other, explore new items first hand, and pick up a lot of tricks and tips from avid vapers.

Recap of VapeBash 2

On Friday, Vapor4Life went to the second annual VapeBash, an ecig convention in Rosemont, Illinois. It was packed, with over 1,600 vapers in attendance! I heard the Windy City Vapers Club (who put on the event) actually ran out of name badges on the first day (now that is a good problem to have)! There were so many people there in fact, it was a little hard to hear, and almost hard to see people with all the vapor that hung in the air.

Vapercon 2 (Part 2 of 2)

Richmond, Virginia Flag

This is a guest post written by Morandir835, an e-cig enthusiast, admin on the Vapor4Life forum, and a regular on their ECF sub forum.

Continued from Vapercon 2 (Part 1)

After lunch Miss Emma, Ms. Bjfgator, my wife and I returned to Vapercon, bellies full and with a few adult beverages in our system. While it was busy before we left for lunch, it was nothing compared to what we walked back into. The room was completely packed to a point where there was no real room to maneuver. Trying to talk to the least active vendor took 10 minutes of waiting in front of their table. It had gotten to a point where many people were just waiting at the tables in front of the convention area entrance, on the stairs, in the lobby, and even outside the hotel to get some fresh air.

Vapercon 2 Part 1 of 2

This is a guest post written by Morandir835, an e-cig enthusiast, admin on the Vapor4Life forum, and a regular on their ECF sub forum.

Last year’s Vapercon in Virginia was the first time I got to meet some of the key people of V4L. I was really looking forward to seeing them again this year, but sadly some things got in the way and V4L decided not to go to. So while V4L as a company wasn’t there, quite a few of its customers from the area as well as myself were. I missed Friday due to work constraints (along with having no one able to watch our dogs), but luckily had intel all day from forum members who were there. Luckily they were there both days so I got to spend the Saturday with them.
