In just two days, we’ll be celebrating Independence Day to commemorate the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. All over America people will be enjoying fireworks, parades, barbecues, carnivals, fairs, picnics, concerts, baseball games, family reunions, and political speeches and ceremonies.

This week I am heading to California for another flow arts festival called Fire Drums. As I packed and started to assemble my vape kit I began to wonder what the rules were for e-cigs on planes. A quick search on the TSA website showed nothing as far as restrictions go, so I did a search and found a few news articles.

By the summer of 2010 I’d had enough of smoking. It was a long time coming, built up over the decades, without a single event that pushed me over the edge. Instead it was a thousand little annoyances that ate away day after day, like nibbling ducks, culminating in my serious consideration of giving up the 30-year vice that had become such an integral part of my identity.
Today is World Vaping Day. Everyone in the electronic cigarette world is celebrating with events, parties, and sales. Vapor4Life is doing a DropNVape event in the Northbrook, Illinois Smokeless Lounge & Store. That means, that whatever we’re doing at 1:00 PM today, we’re going to drop it, and vape!

A tank can be confusing for new vapers. There are actually three different types, and many sizes available of each type. I hope to shed a little light on that situation.

Everyone who knows me knows that I have been a Vapor4Life fan for a few years now and I love that they are coming out with new and exciting things for us to try. Now V4L has it all.
Every industry has their own lingo that people use to communicate, including the electronic cigarette industry. There is a lot of jargon used by people who use personal vaporizers. Some terms are self-explanatory, such as manual, automatic, battery, center post, flavor, LED tip, throat hit, cartridge, vapor, juice, and nicotine strength. Continue reading

Let’s Talk About Juice, Baby.
Alright, you’ve got your favorite handy-dandy V4L Diamond battery, the Slim Chargers, the Drip Tips, and all the other gadgetry. Now what? So many juice choices! Where to start? There’s USA juice, WOW juice, Premium juice, and VG juice. What does that all mean? Well different PG/VG ratios for starters, but I’m no techie. For me it’s about taste, throat hit, and vapor production. Flavor is most important to me, next being throat hit, and vapor production is least important, although I do love clouds! When I started out, I tried all the sampler packs. Pre-filled cartos are a good way to get an idea for a flavor, but the true flavor is in the juice. So when I would try a flavor I liked, I would buy the bottle. There is definitely a difference between pre-filled and filling your own with bottled juice. I highly recommend filling your own cartos with your favorite juices. Your taste buds will thank you! Continue reading
Most people who switch from using traditional cigarettes (analogs) to using electronic cigarettes (e-cigs) are able to do so easily because the products are very similar. Here are two lists pointing out the similarities and differences between them:
