Traveling Momma Joyce

This is a guest post written by Joyce B., an emergency management professional who has been enjoying Vapor4Life products for just over a year.

Hi, V4L readers! This is Joyce, also known as, um, Joyce on the ECF (Electronic Cigarette Forum). Little did I know, I would also be nicknamed “Momma Joyce” by some of the great folks in the Vapor4Life sub forum.

How It Began

How or why I became a smoker is of little consequence. The important thing is that I had my first vape at my daughter’s wedding reception, on Friday, August 13, 2010 (which turned out to be my lucky 13). As the mother of the bride, I was frantically running around trying to make sure that everything for this extravaganza went off without a hitch. Running outside for a smoke every 20 minutes or so just wasn’t happening. One of the guests was showing off her newly acquired V4L kit and stopped me.

“What is this?” I queried, as she handed me a blue manual regular battery.

“It’s an electronic cigarette,” she replied. “You should try it.”

“I’ve never heard of them. I was just headed outside.”

“No, you don’t have to go outside; you can do it in here. Let me fix it for you.” She attached a Kant carto, and showed me how to push the button and draw.

Life Changing

I didn’t know it then, but my life had just changed. She started giving me more details, all about batteries, and battery life, and what to order. She gave me a V4L card, but it was all a blur. This little electronic stick that allowed me to simulate smoking fascinated me. And it tasted great! I couldn’t wait to get home to place an order.

I spent the next several months experimenting with different cartos, battery types, and flavors, before settling on CoolCarts as my preferred experience, and WOW Nuport as my go-to flavor. I’ve got a reputation for my pineapple hysteria, especially WOW Pineapple, and a freshly minted love affair with the new Nobacco Juice USA No. 7.

A Little About Me

Although I am a West Virginian, born, reared, and happily residing, my profession requires that I travel. I often spend more time in a hotel room than I do my home. I want to be at home when I get a vacation! I’m married, have two beautiful grown daughters, and one cat who owns me, instead of the other way around.

That’s it for now from some hotel room, in some city in the great USA.

  3. Stopping smoking is a prtety simple thing to do in principle. Maybe because of it sounding so easy it catches people off guard and ultimately makes it much more difficult to quit. There are a lot of products out there that can help you to stop smoking. Which is best for you depends on many factors and ultimately the only person that knows which is best for you is you.The best thing to do when you are looking to stop smoking is to find out what options you have, and then decide which sounds best for you. Here’s a website that lists the different things that are out there to help you stop smoking.
