Vapercon 2 Part 1 of 2

This is a guest post written by Morandir835, an e-cig enthusiast, admin on the Vapor4Life forum, and a regular on their ECF sub forum.

Last year’s Vapercon in Virginia was the first time I got to meet some of the key people of V4L. I was really looking forward to seeing them again this year, but sadly some things got in the way and V4L decided not to go to. So while V4L as a company wasn’t there, quite a few of its customers from the area as well as myself were. I missed Friday due to work constraints (along with having no one able to watch our dogs), but luckily had intel all day from forum members who were there. Luckily they were there both days so I got to spend the Saturday with them.

After a very long drive thanks to traffic, we finally arrived at around 2pm on Saturday. For those who have never been to a big vaper convention of any sort, the first thing you’ll notice is the fog. That many vapers in one room creates a murky haze over everything. Due to everyone not vaping the same juice, the smell is a combination of every flavor in

the room that can’t be described but is one of a kind. There were many vendors there, some bigger companies, and a few that are just in their infancy. The vibe of the room though for the most part between vendors was one of comradery. The people were a completely different story. When you get a group of vapers together it’s almost like that of a family reunion  While they may not all use the same devices or juices, there is a common bond between them that made no one seem like a stranger.

Not everyone was a stranger to me though. V4L Forum members Miss Emma and Ms. Bjfgator both came from their hometown to Vapercon, and my wife and I had the absolute honor to spend time with them. We hit many booths, talked of many pluses and minuses to the large amount of mods there, and about many other things. We did take a break at one point for lunch, which is where I’ll end part one of this blog.

Check back soon for part 2!
