Vapers – Be Prepared for Daily Outings or Taking a Trip!

This is a guest post written by Keyzygirl from Key West, Florida. Laid back and vaping in paradise.

When preparing to leave the house you need to make sure you are ready to face the day. This is especially true for vapers. You may ask yourself “What do I need to carry with me?” The answer is that it is always better to have too much than too little.

When going out for the day, you should always have extras. A carrying case will hold extra batteries and cartomizers. If you vape a lot consider bringing a charging case. If you are driving you may want a passthrough and a car adapter. I also carry a USB charger in my purse so it’s there if I need it.

Carry an extra battery. You may say you don’t need more than one, but if it dies on you, you will wish you had listened. I also always have a bottle of juice handy to top off my carto. I always think they have more juice left than they actually do. Better safe than sorry. There’s nothing worse than a fresh charged battery and an empty carto. Make sure it doesn’t happen to you.

Longer trips require extra supplies. Figure out what you use each day then add extra. I always throw in an extra box of cartos and an extra bottle of juice in case I vape more than I planned. Make sure all your batteries are charged and pack an extra charger. Vaping supplies don’t take up a lot of space and its better to have more than you need than to run out. We don’t need excuses to smoke cigarettes. We need to be prepared.

I’m not a huge passthrough user so I use my car adapter with a USB charger on trips. I always have freshly charged batts. I love vaping in the car. I used to have to ask to pull over every few hours because I needed a smoke. I’m so much more relaxed traveling now that I’m not worried when I’ll get my next nic fix. I guess I’m a better travel companion now that I’m less stressed about smoking. Another benefit of vaping. Enjoy the ride!

  1. Great tips, Keyzygirl, thanks so much! I tend to take more supplies than I need. That’s because once I made the mistake of only taking one battery and cartomizer. And you are right. The battery died and I was so frustrated. I didn’t know I would be gone that long. Now…I go prepared.

    • DannyApril 3, 2012 I use this on the inferno and it is great. The burn taste that pploee are getting is because they didn’t prime it before starting. You have to fill the tank about 1/4 full and draw off of it un-attached from the battery until the liquid is in the atomizer and saturating the cotton. Once that is done you fill the tank and enjoy. If you are getting the burning taste it is because you didn’t prime the tube and you are just tasting burning cotton When i bought mine the volcano rep primed it for me and the first draw was perfect.

  2. ErinApril 20, 2012 Mine was working fine for a coplue of weeks. I wasn’t a big fan of how different the hit was from just using my drip but the benefit of not having to refill it as often outweighed the negative. This morning, however, it just stopped working. It became harder and harder to get anything out of it until finally I couldn’t get anything other than vape juice in my mouth. I’ve been searching for anyone on the internet who has had the same problem but can only come up with making the holes larger. I really hope it works. I vape a lot when I’m driving and the tank was perfect for such an occasion. I don’t want to have to buy another one after only having mine for such a short amount of time.
