Vapor4Life gets on board with America Recycles Day

Today is America Recycles Day. It is the only nationally recognized day dedicated to promoting and celebrating recycling. Events take place every year on or around November 15 across the U.S. As a program of Keep America Beautiful, the goal is to get people recycling 365 days a year.

America Recycles Day began in 1997 and since then, communities across the country have put on events that educate, promote environmental citizenship and encourage action. You can sign the America Recycles Day pledge on theirĀ website here. The pledge is a commitment to recycle more and inspire others to do the same.

Here at Vapor4Life we’re celebrating by giving 100 VIV Rewards Points to anyone who recycles their ecig batts with us! If you live close enough, you can drop off your old batteries in our Smokeless Lounge (at 4100 Commercial Ave., Northbrook, IL 60062). Or, send them to us via snail mail. Just be sure to include a note with your name, email address and say you want us to recycle your batteries and have us add your Rewards Points to your account. Either way, every person who recycles their batteries at Vapor4Life will receive 100 VIV Rewards Points to use towards their next purchase. This offer is good until November 30, 2013.

So whatchya waitin’ for? Get those old batts recycled and collect your VIV Rewards Points!

  1. Would be nice if V4L would put a mailer envelope to send in dead batteries in with orders that are shipped. Crap, I just threw away a DAV batt that didn’t work from the start and got replaced and several of the regular cig size batts. Didn’t know about this recycling program.

  2. I just put a battery in an orange battery recycling bin, and boom, this article! lol Doesn’t that just figure? I’m lucky that all my batteries are in working order right now. I know the offer expires November 30, 2013. Will we still be able to send you our old batteries after that?

  3. Is this only for V4L batteries, or can we send in other (crappy) brands that I have lying around from before I switched to V4L?
