A: An electronic cigarette is an electronic device that vaporizes a liquid solution to create an alternative to smoking. The V4L e-cigarette is a two-piece system which consists of a rechargeable battery and a "cartomizer." The cartomizer is a cartridge with a coil built in that heats up a solution which contains nicotine and flavoring.

Q: How can I produce more vapor?

Q: When I take a hit of my e-cigarette, I hear a crackling noise. Is that normal?
A: Yes, this is normal. What you hearing is the liquid inside the cartomizer being heated by the atomizer.

Q: How are V4L e-cigarettes different from other personal vaporizers?
A: Most personal vaporizers separate the atomizer from the cartridge. This means that you not only have to replace the cartridges, but oftentimes you must also replace the atomizer after only a few weeks. Our e-cigarettes have the atomizer built into the cartridge. That means every time you use a fresh cartridge you are getting a new atomizer. We believe this is the most user-friendly personal vaporizer on the market. You never have to worry about your atomizer dying.

A: We are available by phone and live chat Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM CDT. We are available on Facebook and Twitter during these hours. We lightly monitor Facebook and Twitter on nights and weekends as well. On our Support Ticket website, tickets are answered within 24 hours during the work week.

Q: Why can't I select the color or strength of a particular product?
A: Our website uses a live inventory system and we do not backorder. If a particular color or strength option does not appear, it means we are out of stock on that item.
Q: I'm new to e-cigarettes, should I order cartomizers or liquids?
A: Usually new vapers start out with cartomizers since they are so easy to use: just attach and vape!

Q: Do you have a guarantee or return policy?
A: We have a 30-day money back guarantee and a 45-day warranty on all starter kits, batteries, and chargers. If you receive a defective unit and would like a replacement, please contact us immediately and we will send you out a replacement unit. You only have to pay postage to send the defective products back to us.
If you wish for a refund, send the unwanted products back to us with a note including your name and customer ID number, and we will issue a refund upon receipt.

Q: Can I return cartomizers and liquids?
A: No, cartomizers and liquids are non-refundable.
SHIPPING
Q: When will my order arrive?
A: Orders ship within one to two business days. Once the order is ready for shipment it will be sent via USPS Priority unless a different shipping option is chosen. Transit time is estimated at three to seven business days to most areas in the U.S. but deliveries can take up to 10 days in some cases. If you do not receive your package within 10 days there could be an issue and you should contact us immediately.
Q: When will my package be shipped?
A: Orders are picked up by the mail carrier daily at 2:00 PM CDT. If you place your order on or around that time, it will go out the next business day.
Q: If I place an order on Saturday and choose express shipping, when will I receive my order?
A: Our order fulfillment team works Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM CDT, so if you place an order on Saturday it will ship out on Monday, and your package should arrive on Tuesday.
Q: How much does shipping cost?
A: We offer flat shipping rates for shipping within the U.S. All shipments are sent through the U.S. Postal Service. Our shipping rates are as follows:

Q: Do you ship international orders?
A: Yes, we will ship pretty much anywhere. The shipping on all international orders is $25 USD. For Canada we ship orders via USPS Priority International, and for the rest of the world we use USPS First Class International. Please allow two to four weeks for delivery. Please Note: V4L cannot be held responsible for customs or delivery issues within your home country.
Q: What happens if I live outside of the U.S. and my package gets stuck in customs?
A: We have little control once the shipment leaves the U.S., so if your order gets stuck in customs we cannot reship the order until it is returned to us.

Q: How many cartomizers can you fill with one 30 ml bottle of liquid?
A: 25 - 30 carts
Q: How long does one cartomizer last?
A: This varies by person, but they average about 200 puffs per cartomizer (about 3/4 to one pack of cigarettes).
Q: How do I refill a cartomizer?
A: The easiest way to refill a cartomizer is to pull off the soft white disc from the cartomizer (thumbtacks work great for this) and drip 20 drops against the side of the cartomizer into the white filler material. Work your way around in a circle dripping one at a time.
Q: What are in the liquids?
A: There are four basic ingredients in our Nobacco juices: food grade flavoring, propylene glycol, vegetable glycerin, and nicotine. All of our liquids come in several nicotine strengths, and are also available nicotine-free.
Q: What’s the difference between WOW, Premium and VG liquids?
A: The differences between WOW Liquid and WOW VG Liquid is that WOW Liquid is made with propylene glycol (PG) and WOW VG Liquid is made with vegetable glycerin (VG) and recommended for sensitive people. WOW Liquid has more flavor and produces more vapor than Premium Liquid.
Q: What kind of cartomizers do you sell?
A: V4L carries two main types of cartomizers: WOW and Premium CoolCarts. WOW cartomizers burn warmer, produce more vapor, and have a stronger taste. Premium CoolCarts hold a little more liquid and run slightly cooler.

BATTERIES
Q: How long will my battery last until it needs recharging?
A: This varies based on usage, but shorties typically last two to three hours, regulars last three to five hours, and XLs last eight or more hours before needing to be recharged.
Q: I just got my battery in the mail. Can I use it right away?
A: Typically batteries come 70 - 100% charged. When you first receive your battery, place it on the charger and when the light turns green it's charged up and ready to go!
Q: Why is the light on my battery flashing?
A: The battery needs to be charged.
Q: What is the difference between battery types?
A: Manual batteries are completely sealed, have larger airholes for a lighter draw and require you to press a button when taking a puff to activate the battery. Automatic batteries are not sealed, have smaller airholes for a slightly tighter draw and require you to just inhale like a traditional cigarette to activate the battery.
Q: I refill my own carts. Does it matter what type of battery I use?
A: If you are using liquid refills, we highly suggest that you use manual batteries; since automatic batteries are not sealed, the liquid tends to drip into it and ruin the battery.
Q: Which battery should I use with pre-filled cartomizers?
A: You can use either manual or automatic batteries with pre-filled cartomizers.
Q: What do I do with my old batteries that I don't use anymore?
A: We encourage you to utilize free services like Call2Recycle, which have drop off boxes across the nation to collect rechargeable batteries for proper recycling and/or disposal.
Q: Can I choose my LED color?
A: You cannot select a particular LED color. You can request a certain LED color for your battery in the comment section of your order, but we cannot guarantee that it will be available.
Q: What batteries work best with CoolCarts?
A: CoolCarts work with all V4L batteries and any KR808 batteries.
