Dual Coil Replacement Cartomizer - 808 Thread - Cartomizer Resistance: 1.5 Ohm

Hello I just bought 2 dual coil replacements for my tank and both tasted burnt. I filled them like the instructions told me. Anyone know what happened? Or are they just bad cartomizers? Thanks

Hello Drea80, and welcome to the forum. I'm not sure what the problem is with your your Cartos, but someone will be along to give you some advice soon.

Just out of curiosity, what fill method are you using? And, you were using instructions that came with your cartos?

Welcome to the forum Drea I could be wrong, but I don't think you will get a burnt taste with a bad carto. Burnt taste means that it wasn't juiced up enough and you are burning the polyfill inside the carto. If you didn't burn it too bad they can still be used.

Did you take any dry hits before you started vaping?

I did use the instructions that came with the cartos. I was dripping in the mouth piece end. I put the carto into the tank and filled the tank up. The first drag I took was a burnt taste. I let the tank sit for a while and still tasted brunt.

I did not take any dry hits before. I thought that would burn the polyfill.

Sorry. This is a diffferent kind of dry hit. A dry it on a battery WILL for sure burn it. Don't do that!!!

Ok, just wanted to post that real quick. The dry hit you do with the tank is off the battery. I will get you a video, but you pretty much just put your finger over the hole at the bottom of the carto and suck on the drip tip to draw juice in through the holes which sucks juice from the tank into the carto. I do it until I can see juice in the air hole. Not alot or or will leak everywhere. Just enough so that you know it's good and saturated. BRB with that vid.

I skipped throgh the vid a little and didn't see instructions on a dry hit (I might've missed it). Here's a thread where it was discussed to some length:
