Do I Suck?
Too hard, that is :P?
I'm used to auto batteries and really do drag on them, especially when feeling stressed. Tanks & manual batteries have been working fine, most of the time - but I killed a tank carto in an hour or so of chain vaping this morning.
It was gurgling, I told it off, said it couldn't possibly gurgle at that stage, but it kept on gurgling. Checked the airway, it was blocked. Stuck a syringe needle up to clear it, worked for a while, but not long before being blocked again.
I've had my share of tank cartos that either gurgle too soon or can't be gotten past burned taste to begin with, but it got me wondering;
"Is it possible to drag too hard on tanks?"
Is is possible, that when stressed or just really enjoying a tank, one can inhale too hard and flood the airway? Of course, it's possible this could just be another of my many unique 'talents' :lol:
I haven't got a clue about the answer to your question (will leave that to the experts). I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed reading your question! It gave me my first laugh of the morning. :thumbs:
Possibly Ms. Katz, could also be if you're using wowboy peppermint that your chain vaping has clogged the tank before it's time (done that quite a few times with that juice).
Oh, miss Katz, you are a very funny lady, and if I hadn't just gone to the girls room in my morning ritual, I would be sitting in a puddle, you make me laugh so hard!

I have had tank cartos only survive 3 fills, and others that are still in use 3 months later...some depends on the juice, I think, how quickly the sugars caramelize (or whatever is going on that makes the filler crunchy) is a big factor, once that filler gets hard, it just doesn't keep the juice from clogging everything up....and it seems that perhaps the viscosity of the juice is also a factor; I've had the biggest problem with beach bum!
And no, honey, you don't suck....you INHALE!!!! ;). As miss ls9 says: luffya, kiddo!!
You're not alone on this one Katz. I've one of those cartos as well. It's a low resistance one and I did run it pretty hot so I think I gunked it up. Before it went south it was vaping like a champ though.
This happened to me this week as well. Brand new cart in tank, gurgle, gurgle, worked for a little while, drowned and burnt out at the same time ....................... what the ????? Started again with a new cart, all good.
Low resistance Carto... Chain vaping... You burned a hole in the wick tube my friend! Therefore it will gurgle, and become useless.
Am I wrong? Check for burn holes holding it up to the light.
Toss it! Also, I would keep a rotation of different PVs, as to not exert those cartos to oblivion... Lol

Katz I believe so. Looking at the progression of Tanks since their inception, they first started with folks using any one of the following means for punching holes. A Saddle Valve, a finish nail, or using a Dremel with a cutting wheels to make slots. In all of these cases the DIY holes are much larger (2-4 times) than the factory pre-punched holes provided in Smoketech tank cartos.
The first of these production line Tank Cartos came with 1 hole. Unfortunately the factory pre-punched hole is quite small, approx. .5 mm in diameter. To address this in the last couple of months the manufacturer went to a 2 hole configuration. However in the last month or so the 3 hole tanks have made an appearance, and in the near the future I wouldn't be shocked to see a 4 hole configuration.

I suck lighter when vaping on tanks than on my regular cartos. Don't want to burn them out. Do a slightly lighter but longer drag lol. Sometimes if I have a little bit of a gurgle....I will LIGHTLY blow out the inner tube (was told before shouldn't blow out a tank carto but sometimes it just seems necessary, so I do it very lightly), then I turn it upside down and right side up again, because I heard somewhere else that helps, and I dunno, seems to do the job. Sometimes just vaping it a few times makes the gurgle go away too.
