So I'm settling into this switch to vaping rather nicely. Last night, with that switch, came comfort, carelessness, panic, anxiety then happiness. The comfort came from all the knowledge I've learned about e-cigs SO FAR. I mean, I'm using TANKS for goodness sakes! Anyway, I've been getting in the routine of cleaning my batts about once a week. Now I do have "a look" all the time just to make sure things look ok. Last night, doing my "vaping chores", I plug in my slim charger, then screw on my green XL manual titan. Greeny decides he's gonna wink (blink) at me slowly and never stop. Charger decides he's not going to change his LED from green to red, showing me he's not doing his job. I unscrew Greeny and he keeps blinking. Oh no! I unplug charger and set him down with my two other chargers while I continue to focus on Greeny. Well, this is where the panic comes in. Now I no longer know which charger might be faulty. Then anxiety joins the party. Will I now short out ALL my batts? Carelessness was everywhere. Off went a PM to Morandir sir. A "What have I done?" kinda PM. This is where Peppy the big pink eGo shouts out that she came with a charger and it's in the cabinet. Happiness didn't come until this morning, Vapor4Life is gonna have a wheely good sale today!
Moral of the story: 1) A quick clean of batts before charging is good. 2) Screw battery to charger BEFORE plugging into power strip. 3) Pay close attention to which charger you're using, in case it goes south. 4) Watch for sales, to always be well prepared.
Maybe somebody out there can learn something from my mistakes!
