Done and still a no go for all browsers! Its ok! I will survive without them.Regarding browsers and missing graphics...
You may have read my earlier rant commiserating with Mark on what a pain it is to write a web page that displays correctly/identically on all/any modern web browser. The sad fact is that all the browser manufacturers have gone off and tweaked their browsers (often to compensate for many poorly/incorrectly written web pages on the web) in such a way that it takes quite some time to chase down all the browser compatibility issues... In my own opinion, Chrome comes closest to trying to match the standards (out of the top 4-5 browsers, I'm sure there are niche browsers that are even closer to true standards), but even it has a bunch of custom CSS rules that only it understands, etc etc.
Also, Safari and Chrome are based on the same underlying engine (called WebKit) so they will often have similar behaviors/issues.
All I can suggest is the typical web debug two-step; Delete all your cookies and temporary internet files, restart computer, and try once more. If it still doesn't work, try different browsers.
When reporting issues, if possible please report your EXACT browser version; this can be found in the Help/About menu of the browser. For example, the current build of Chrome I'm using right now is versoin "19.0.1084.56 m"
Hope this made some sense/is helpful.
