Not only may they be messing with CSS files, but often the website engine (and jquery itself) are configured to send different CSS/markup to different browsers based on the User agent string (which tells what browser and a little about plugins, etc.). It could be either in this case.
I'm hoping that our screenshots with markup from two identical versions of Chrome will be seen by the team, and help them to figure this out.
By the way, mine is:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/536.5 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/19.0.1084.56 Safari/536.5
Whats My User Agent?
Stephanie (and others with odd stuff happening), please visit above link and post yours as well. It might help them. [And Mark, please step in if I'm wrong or unhelpful.]

Here is what mine says:Your User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/536.5 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/19.0.1084.56 Safari/536.5
Thank you, Jeff, for posting that! So in your case, your markup looks like mine, but your display like hers. Weird!!!
Going to PM Mark so he knows this data is here...
Let him know about the issue with the avatars also. (your own avatar not appearing for yourself but visible to others)
Well, that was hard... I tried sending a PM and typing in his username directly, and it said he didn't exist. Went to user lists, and they are empty (for the letter D at least.) Finally found a post of his, clicked on his avatar and was able to send that way.
