Thanks everyone, good to know some tricks to navigate my searches a little better.

Blue...thanks for the carto info. I just know there's so much to know with them, like what will and will not work on passthroughs, etc. Didn't know if there were maybe some of them that just flat out wouldn't work on the ego or not. So far I have some 1.5 and 2.0 dc, and some 2.0 sc on the way to go with my manual pt which is also on the way. Was just wondering basically if any of what I already have would work on the ego or if I have to order more stuff if I choose to get the ego. Still on the fence, I'm still reading through all the links Ms. LS9 was kind enough to provide. But I'm thinking I may just give it a try, what the heck. Now...where's that wheel when I need it.

Anything you can screw on to that ego should work on it. With the PT best results with 3ohm sc or 2.5ohm dc.

Ok I did it, I took the plunge and bought an ego. My hunch is that I won't like it quite as much as the titans, but if for nothing else but a backup battery, that's cool too. (As I sit here with two dead batteries staring impatiently at my charger.)

I hope you enjoy it when it arrives! As you say, at the very least as a backup battery I'm sure it will be helpful during those moments where the charger lights aren't green yet.

Willow, I think you'll like the eGo. I was strictly an XL KD user, bought 2 egos, love them!!!!!! With a mega cart or tank, especially.

Oh, I do have one more question. In a thread I was reading through about the ego, there was mention about raising and lowering the post when switching between the carto and the tank? What do I need to know about that? Plan on using tanks.

Sometimes you have to pull the post up a bit using a safety pin, paperclip, or the like Ms. Willow. The egos aren't as resilient to this process as the king diamond and stealths, if you find you have to do it a lot you're going to want to contact cs...

Basically I look at my egos as more utilitarian batteries. When I have a lot of running around to do and I don't feel like changing things out I just use my ego with a tank or mega carto. When I want to look more high class and sophisticated, i use my titans with matching colored tanks or cartos and matched to my outfits and drip tips. I love both of them equally well and they each have their purpose in my life. One is like a sturdy hard working and husband and the other is like an exciting lover. I keep them in the same bag but in different zipper compartments. I don't need any domestic disturbances going on in my vaping life.
