LOL, excellent word SAG! I'm going to plagerize that one for sure! Regarding the deep cycling, the problem I've always had is recognizing whether the carto needs to be topped off or the battery is starting to weaken. By the time I figure it out...you're right....I'm blinking.
We do have a couple of serial battery murderers on this forum (I'm not mentioning any names though). In fact, I don't even know if "serial" is spelled right.....maybe it's "cereal" murderers? They murder Cheerios and Rice Krispies.
Thanks LS9, but I can not take credit for the word! A very famous vapor used it once, and it stuck with me. I love the word, perfect description.
Yeah, I love that word too; I tend to use it now and then myself
Also 'crapalanche' - when a pile of random crap falls over/spills.
Another good one. We could keep an entire thread going with that one! "crapola" LOL
My grandson's boyscout troup went camping last weekend. God forbid that a group of deliquent, snotty, cocky and BORED boys create a word game to holler back and forth between tents late at night! This one involved....stating a problem. Then, the answer has to always be "rub bacon on it". LOL Example: "My foot itches"......"rub bacon on it!".
......guess you had to be there. He had some pretty hilarious examples that I can't repeat here. LOL
I know Gator! A few months ago the word game required naming ANY SONG TITLE....the answer had to be "in the bed". LOL Good grief! "my foot itches"....."in the bed". Or...."Blue Suede Shoes"....."in the bed". LOL
Now THIS game got really strange! LOL
Ms. Bjfgator there's a few reasons why-
1. That would require a complete redesign of the ic, which would bring up the cost significantly for at least the first run of batts with it. Juice just isn't worth the squeeze.
2. Use time would be reduced in comparison to current use time and there would be just as many complaints as there would be praise for the avoidance of deep cycling.
3. Keep in mind, even the most advanced high end mod on the market doesn't blink until you've hit deep cycle. It starts flashing at 3.4v, anything under 3.5v on a 3.7v lithium based batt (working range 4.2v-3.2v) is deep cycling. It doesn't cut off until 3.2v, but the damage has already been done.
