    Charging my new ego

Got my new ego battery and charger today, first time using this one. Out of the box, I put it on the charger and it was green so I figured I lucked out with a charged battery. Used it a good portion of the evening, then put it back on the charger before bed just now, and the light is still green. I usually just screw on my battery just until it makes contact and stop. With this ego I did the same thing until I felt it stop. I even screwed it on a tiny bit more just to be sure it was making contact and still nothing.

Ruled out bad charger, I put a run down titan on it and it turned red no problem. Also tried the ego battery on my other charger and it still stayed green.
So is this likely a post issue? Do I have to raise it? Or do egos generally need to be screwed on the chargers tighter and I'm being a wuss?

    Thanks

That's weird. I hope someone with an ego will be able to help you. I don't have one and have never heard of this happening.

Yikes, sorry you are having trouble with your ego (and that I don't own and know next to nothing about it)! There are many egomaniacs here, as well as Mr Morandir who can help.

I am not sure what to say to that. I screw mine on til they stop and the light is red. I just put 2 on the charger. (Thanks for reminding me)

Yeah, sort of baffled myself. Haven't had any issues with my tanks on it, makes contact fine.

Well I decided to raise the post a tiny bit to see what happened, and now it works like a charm! Never mind.

Be careful raising the posts on the Egos. I have heard that they arent able to withstand it too much.

WTG Willow! I'm glad you got it fixed! I haven't had a problem with any Ego batteries. I have had to raise the post a few times, but I didn't know they were fragile. Tks Steph! I will be extra careful in the future.

Yeah, that's kind of why I was scared to try it without asking first. But I figured it was probably the only thing it could be. Just hope it doesn't continue to give me issues. Fingers crossed!

I'd you were able to vape on it at first, it is possible whatever tank or carto you used pushed the post down. Take care when screwing cartos on to avoid overtightening it.

Also, I had a problem like this switching between cool carts and tank carts, I think coolcarts have slightly lower posts on average.
