Apparently we are talking of different sweeteners. Three drops in a 30ml bottle? Whoa!!! I 'dip a pin', at about a quarter of an inch, into a fifty ml bottle.
Wait a minute, I think I see what is happening. Yours is Splenda (r), Splendex (r) (same but different prep methods, not to mention different fillers) or stevia related? Those are much 'cut' with fillers and then diluted even more to make juices. (One seller I know cuts Splendex with alcohol 1:3 sweetener/alcohol). And yes, those would be death to cartos from the 'fillers'.
I am talking of pure Spendex (r) (note spelling difference). I do not know the chemical name or formula. Sorry. I can tell you that it must be kept in darkened glass...
I still recommend to novices to not even try adding sweeteners, if you can avoid it.
