New battery problem
I recently purchased a new battery after I lost my old one. It is a large king diamond.
It lights up, but give me no vapor. None at all. It worked for the first 2 days and now does not. I thought it was the cartridge, so I try 2 more with the same result. I use per filled.
Do I need to clean it after only 2 days? Is it broken?
It still lights up! I am using my USB one now, so I know it is not the wow cartridges!
Please help. I'm desperate!
It's sounds like your post may have been pushed down. Have you tried to raise the post? It's a quick and easy fix that will have you vaping again in no time! I'll go get the vid, brb.
Thanks. I had a cartridge that the threads were screwed up! Might be the case. A vid would be great. Thanks for the quick reply. I'm stuck being by a USB device lol
Well I thought there was a video about it. Maybe I'm just crazy. Anyway, this is an auto battery right? Let me see if I can explain this... look at the battery, on the end where you put the carto there is a post with a hole in it. Sometimes that post can get pushed down (if you screw on the carto too tight, or screw in too tight on the charger) and it affects the connection between the battery and carto. All you need to do is raise that post. There are a couple different ways to do this.
1.You can get something (like a needle or thumb tack) that is small enough to fit in the air holes on the side of the battery directly under the threads. Put the needle in the hole and push up on the center post. Make sure you push up on all sides and get the post level.
2. You can use the needle and put it between the center post and the inside of the threads and pry it up like that.
3. BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS ONE!!! You can get something larger, like a paperclip, and put it inside the center hole and raise it up like that. I don't think this method is recommended because you could jack up your battery if you push the paperclip in too far.
Be very careful with any of these methods though, you don't want to raise it too far and disconnect anything and kill your battery. I think it's recommended to raise it to be level with the threads. Someone will correct me if that's wrong. And if anyone can find that darn vid, please post it!!
HA!! I found it!! I knew it was out there somewhere!
Thank you Mr. SnowDragon :)
Also, here is the link to another fix in case the post raise doesn't work
It's a manual! Does that matter. I heard they read that they were better and heat up faster?
Hmmm, I'm not sure. I think it will still work for manuals since it has a post and the battery works the same, except for the manual/auto difference.
Yes, manuals heat up faster because you push a button that turns on the battery and heats up the carto instead of having to draw on the carto. It depends on who you talk to on whether they are better or not. Personally I prefer the autos. But what really matters is what works better for you!
Thanks. I appreciate it harmony!
Does that mean it worked? I hope it did!
