    2.0ohm sc tank carto

    Question...

I was under the distinct impression that 2.0ohm sc tank carts would work on a PT. I just got 2 of them in labeled with blue dots(which matches website description) and neither will fire on my PT. I tried it in multiple wall outlets to rule out my power strip as well. All other ohm levels work in dc/sc except 1.5dc (of course) in my VK PT with 2.1a wall adapter.

Anyone else have this issue? I did my research throughout the forum and thought it was safe to assume the 2.0sc work on PTs? :banghead:

    That sucks Covert

I had the same trouble but it was a power strip issue. Are you using the V4L wall adapter?

The only other issue I can think of is something SnowDragon said about something electrical. Lol, I don't know thise things so I don't want to mis-quote him. I'll try to find his post and link it. I haveyet to have problems with 3ohm sc working on my PT fwiw.

ETA: Problem with PT and/or carto
Post #6 He says: "I'll bet that your 2.0 is really 1.8 or 1.9, this would push your amps to 2.6 or 2.7. Do you have a meter to check it? "

Covertkeen sir the only tank cartos that are guaranteed to work with the pt's are the 3.0ohm sc. The usb wall adapter is only rated at 5.1v@2.1a, the car adapter 5v@2a. Both can be pushed harder, but that is the guaranteed output. A 2.0ohm sc will pull 2.5a at 5v if it's 2.0ohms. Computer usb 2.0 ports are only rated at .5a (500ma) standard, though there are some rated for as high as 1.5a. Usb 3.0 is 900ma standard, though they're working on making 2.5a output with those for laptops, tablets, etc. It's a luck of the draw with how far you can push the adapters.
