Has anyone else had a problem with their Titan manual batteries not working on the tanks? This has been happening to both my wife and I. We use the 1.5ohm DC carts as we don't like the vapor output & throat hit of the higher ohm carts. The problem is this. On my new 6ml tank, with a new cart and fully charged batteries, the battery lights up but isn't heating up the cart at all. There is absolutely zero vapor production. Now this happens on all of my five of my batteries but one. One of my batteries will work. The other batteries won't work but will work on prefilled cartos and on another 3.5ml tank. None of my wife's batteries work on her 6ml tank. This also happened to me last week on one of my 3.5ml tanks. The size of the tank shouldn't matter (insert jokes here).
I am figuring that there must be either some issue with the 1.5ohm dc cart that is in the tank requiring more voltage/amps (not good with that stuff) than the battery can output or that the batteries are no longer outputting the correct amount of voltage/amps. Two of our batteries are brand new (a week old now) that we got with the Titan Triple Play Combo which included a new titan manual battery, 6ml tank & 30ml juice.
My cousin ordered a tank last week and said that she was having the same problem we were. She called CS and they said that her battery was defective and shipped her a new one free of charge. I find it hard to believe that 9 out of our 10 batteries would be defective, especially with two being brand new. I am thinking that it is more likely that we got a bad batch of replacement carts.
Has anyone else had this problem? How do I know if it is the cart or tank that is causing the problem? If it is the carts, how can I test the other ones I have to see if they are bad also? I don't want to waste juice filling them just to find out they don't work.
We have been using tanks for 4 months now without issues and this is really putting a dampening on our love of tank vaping.
