Well, mr Bham...seems to me that the post office is closed at around noon on Saturday...then all day Sunday...so, I'm not sure that even if you worked Saturday morning, would packages be delivered to the P.O. before noon??..the packages would STILL sit in Chicago all weekend, anyway...and they MIGHT get to destination on Tuesday, but is it worth it?
Having spent almost 45 years of working 60-70 hour weeks...including Saturday and Sundays and HOLIDAYS...I have deep feelings about young people (like my son, too) who are in the "service" industry who never get two days off in a row, who work long weekend hours and are always "on call"...those of us who have spent our lives doing so, certainly have great appreciation for those of you who serve our needs...(although we may not act like it at times!)
IF shipping times can REALLY be shortened, then, yes, it might be a brilliant idea to have a "Saturday ship crew", because, as some folks have noted, a majority of folks are paid on Fridays....(I am paid on the second Tuesday of each month, so I am not affected). I remember well the first 3-6 months that I vaped...I needed SO many things, and was always running out of juice or cartos...so, I began to "stock up" (especially living in a hurricane zone, a bright idea)...So, I started documenting how many bottles of juice, how many cartos, and "consumables" I used each month...and slowly bought "extra" for my "emergency" stash...
Now that I know my favorite juices, and what ohm DCT cartos I need, etc...I have approximately 3-4 months of supplies salted away...this allows me to steep any new juices I buy, too!!! Once a month, when I get paid, I buy what I HAVE to have...and then I wait to make my second "re-supply" order when a nice sale is going on!!
Doing this requires a bit of "organization"...keeping an "inventory" sheet, so you know what needs to be replaced, what you need...AND you must keep an eye on the expiration dates on your juices, so that you "rotate" your juice supplies...this also helps when, if for some reason your favorite juice is out of stock at Vapor4Life, your supply closet isn't empty!!!!
I always "stock up and save" during sales!!!
Sure hope that you don't need to work too any Saturdays!!!
