will someone explain the "spin" part of the drip and spin fill method? I'm sorry if that sounds like a stupid question, but spin how?
Truer words were ne'er spoken Plarkinjr! I will tell you that when we steam clean the cartos with the hand steamer it takes 3 - 5 times on the cigar ones to get them clean so they don't smell. Of course, the kitchen then smells like a poker game aftermath! After I clean them, I try to refill similar flavors into similar. Fruits into fruits, chocs into chocs, etc. I find that helps too. I hold them up close to my nose and take a big snort. If I don't smell anything then they are ready to turn upside down. The best thing about the steam cleaner is they are much dryer than if they were soaked or boiled. They dry in a few hours instead of overnight. They are so white after steaming. Very pristine. I too am fearful about putting them on the autos because I am still mastering the syringe method. I will tell you one thing... DO NOT fill cartos during sports events! I got so frustrated at the Ravens I clutched and oversquirted! What a mess.

Photo bug, you have definitely found the best in V4L. I tried refilling some of my used prefilled carts, to get the hang of it, before I ordered blank carts. As already suggested, use the drip/spin method. (search 'taryn spin). And there is always someone here to help answer any questions you have. Happy vaping!

You guys have great advice on here and sent me right to the awesome videos for filling your carts but I am still scared to after hearing you can ruin your batteries or fill a cart that you burned by mistake before you realized it was burned. When you refill a cart how long should you wait before you put it on the battery and start vaping? I am so new at this stuff and such an amatuer I have already run out of my initial supplies and am anxiously waiting for my juice to come! I just don't want to ruin my investment by killing my batteries!
Thanks for the advice!!!!!
Ms. Iheart if you place them on a paper towel for 5 minutes and they don't leak, you should be fine. The horrible taste from a burnt carto should let you know not to fill it...![]()

Hello iheart ! Good to see you bopping around and figuring things out. LOL I do the paper towel thing too. I usually grab one, check it out and dry it off real good and leave the others there for awhile...just to sate my paranoia. LOL
Good luck !

Like K9Luvr said (in case you missed it), just search taryn spin. I believe there is also a video on how to do this particular spin.
Another way to "see" if they are burnt before filling it up is you can set the carto on a flashlight and look through the air hole/tube. The tube should be all smooth on the inside. If there are any holes burned into it then you won't get a good fill and it's on its way out.
Hello,
need some help. I used to use prefilled carts and just switched to blanks. MY first two attempts started to have the burned taste after about an hour. The second time I had refilled a fresh blank, i was careful not to vape to long but it still tasted burned after about an hour or so. It is a WOW blank cart and a manual diamond series battery. I put about 23 drops to fill. I used the drip and spin method. Any ideas why the burned taste comes so soon? any help is appreciated
Thanks alot,
Jacob
