one of my batteries...
is kind of "special"
it's just a regular old vaporking auto battery. black with a green light, so i'm kind of said this had to be the one to act up.
sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. sometimes it'll light up and give me no vapor, sometimes it will ignore me entirely, and sometimes it works just fine.
when i put it on the charger, it takes an ungodly long time to charge. way longer than it should.
i have tried raising the post. the post is fine.
is there any way to fix this, or is it just a bum battery that i should be sending back?
After it is finished charging, remove it and put it back on charger immediately. Does it indicate charging again? If so, let it finish and see if that helps. I've seen that on one of mine.
Also, try smacking the threaded end on your knee or some other firm but not hard surface, sorta like you you might pack a cigarette. And or shake it with a whipping motion like nurses do with thermometers, with the LED end in your hand.
I'm not holding out much hope for any of these; Moradir will probably say I'm wasting your time. But worth a shot. Good Luck & keep us posted.
Is it possible to clean them with a bit of alcohol on a qtip? My other manufacturer had recommended that but not sure if you can do that with these or not.
Possible and recommended, but don't let any liquid get down the center post on the auto batteries.

How to Clean Vapor4Life Batteries and Passthroughs - YouTube
well... i seriously just got this battery. it started acting up after 30 minutes of use :/
and in my mind, there's no reason for it to stay on the charger with a red light for 4 hours.
what kind of charger? I've had some batteries require many hours of charge on the PCC especially.
If Morandir doesnt give you any suggestions by morning, I'd contact Vapor4Life for guidance then.
Ms. Schopenhauer few questions. What charger are you using, using prefills or self filled cartos, what method of filling are you using if answer to question 2 is yes, and finally have you tried smacking where the vapor king logo is against the edge of a desk or table to try and loosen up the switch (sounds crazy but works about 50% of the time)?
using both the wall charger and the usb charger that come with the starter kit.
i use self filled. i top them off by dripping directly onto the polyfill. when i blow through them, no liquid comes out, so i know i'm not overfilling.
i'll try beating it up once i drain the battery down again. i might actually lend it to my dad for the evening in attempts to get a 40 year smoker to put down the marlboros for once ;D lately he's been expressing that he's tired of feeling like a slave to two packs a day.
i'll let you guys know how the next charge goes.
thanks for the tips, morandir and plark <3
