Adding to e-liquids?
Hello! New to vaping here. I was just wondering if anyone knows if it is good, bad, ok or a horrible idea to add anything to e-liquids? I was thinking of adding cinnamon oil or various mint oils to liquids I already have. I don't know if this would be harmful to the carts/tanks/or mods? Has anyone done this, if so how did it turn out? I'm sorry if this question was asked already and I missed it...
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
not sure on using oils and how they would work with cartos etc and clogging them, or what type of oils they maybe
you can get flavourings from various vendors (dont think i am allowed to mentions names here though) and you could add them to the juice, ratios etc would have to be taken into account.
its almost half diy and half over the counter liquid.
I'd be less concerned about what additives do to the equipment and more concerned about what they do to your lungs. One must be careful when adding anything to make sure it's OK to vaporize and inhale.
That said, there are sites where one can purchase flavorings to safely add to vapor juices, and I think I'd be more inclined to buy those than to experiment with something of which I am unsure, safety-wise.
Agree with WillardRoad, I'd stick to the diy flavorings out there to be safe about it.
diy flavoring is the same as the flavorings you buy at the store ..we're trapsing on diy and don't think that is allowed here ..I have no clue, so if edited so be it..
You SHOULD NOT use OILS it is very bad to vape.
That being said they can also certain cinnamons crack tanks, which ones I have no clue.
Also with that being said. sometimes I add my diy flavorings to some of the Vapor4Life juices. If I don't have a mix I like in Vapor4Life Juices I might add a few drops to a sample bottle of the flavorings I like mixed with say..My waffle from Vapor4Life so I can have a blueberry waffle. I am not a diy person MUCH because I suck But for me it helps having a base of GOOD Vapor4Life Juice and doctor it to my taste
Girl..you make me

Yes, I should of said that too...Thanks BHam :D And if you check the other place...EVERYTHING has been almost tested ..Unless of course your el stupido to say vape Cat Litter :/ then you're just barking up the WRONG tree :D
Thanks for the input, folks. A friend of mine and I were visiting about how much we are enjoying this new (to us) experience and were looking for ways to make it even better. The issue of DIY adding to to e-liquids came up and I suggested we wait on vaping anything but approved liquids until I could put the question out here on the forum...
Thanks for your prompt, helpful, and courteous responses!!!
Here is the link to the ECF DIY subforum. Loads of great info there!
