I've been having an issue that I could use some input on, because I'm stumped. I bought the OMG which came with a 510-threaded 6ml tank. After using it for a few days (ran maybe 12ml of juice through it) it began to flood randomly (made a gargling sound when I'd draw on it... I'm assuming this is flooding) and would leak fluid from the thread end. I spoke with Vapor4Life and they said it was probably defective, and sent me a new one.
In the meantime, I read the posts about safety with the OMG, and using higher ohm cartomizers, so I sourced some 2.5ohm dual coil cartos for my tanks, also 510-threaded from another source. Loaded up a couple tanks with the new cartos last night, one 3.5ml, one 6ml and they seemed to work great. Then this morning I hooked up the 6ml tank and after a couple draws it flooded.
So this is where I'm getting confused. Tank cartos from two different sources, different resistances, same sized tank (but a different tank), both 510-threaded, getting the same flooding issue. I will say that I have never had this issue with any of my 808-threaded tank cartos, and (knock on wood) I've been using one of the new cartos in this 3.5ml tank since last night and have had no issues.
I thought that maybe my method of filling the tank might be an issue. I fill the carto first... I don't overflow it like the directions say, but just drip fill it like I would any other carto. Then I pull the carto down a bit, tilt the tank at an angle and slowly fill along the inner wall of the tank. I use this same method for filling any of the tanks, regardless of size or threading.
Ok, that was probably way too much detail, but if anyone sees anything I'm doing wrong, or knows of any ways to prevent this from happening, I'd appreciate it! Thanks!
