Refilling Cartomizer to use with Original Vapor King Automatic battery
Hi all, vaping virgin here – well, kind of, I bought one Blu disposable to try out but hated it – still awaiting my first Vapor4Life shipment. Have a newbie question. Vapor4Life’s FAQ says:
It sounds like if I have the Original Vapor King Automatic battery, I cannot refill the cartomizer to use with it b/c it's a unsealed battery. What I don’t understand is that if I just pull the cap out to refill it and then recapping it afterward, the cartomizer will be exactly like how it was before the procedures. So, if it can use that cartomizer before without having liquid dripping into it, why would it be a problem now simply by me uncapping, refilling and capping it back. I hope I am clear on the question. And I apologize if this has been asked and answered b4.
I refill my own carts. Does it matter what type of battery I use?
We recommend using a manual battery if you refill carts with e-liquid. Automatic batteries are not sealed (with the exception of Vapor Titan automatic batteries), meaning liquid can drip into the battery and cause damage.

More difficult to use? I would say no. But you definitely want to be more diligent. Personally, when I started using tanks I went to all manual batts. I just didn't want to risk it. And it's a good thing because I had a siphon incident that would've killed an auto pt for sure!
I didn't like moving to all manuals, but I weighed the costs and decided it was for the best.
