So I've been vaping Cinnablaze practically since it was released, and it is one of my favorite flavors. I've went through many bottles and found the new bottle shape very neat when I received my last order. In the past week or so, I've had an odd occurrence happen twice when using Cinnablaze and cleaning my drip tips.
Usually, I just take a q-tip and periodically swab out the drip tip. Earlier this week, I did so (with the juice from the new bottle) and immediately upon doing so, the (regular, clear) drip tip took on a milky, scratched look. Just tonight, I was cleaning a second drip tip that I use with Cinnablaze and the same thing happened. Here is a picture of three drip tips - the two on the left are the two that had this happen, and the one on the right is an unaffected drip tip:
If I take a knife or very sharp object, I am able to scrape off some of this residue. It will not come off with water or scrubbing, and q-tips seem to cause the reaction. There are actual scratches in the drip tip now that correspond to the movement of the q-tip (as can be seen in the picture). It only did this both times AFTER I tried to take a q-tip through it; prior, the drip tip looked perfectly normal.
I'm wondering if some sort of reaction has occurred within the new bottle? Seeing as how that's the only variable that I'm aware of currently, I thought that might be the case. I've never had this happen with other juices, other bottles, other drip-tips, etc - all while always using q-tips to clean them. All of my other (quite old) drip tips look the same as they did when I first received them.
This latest order of Cinnablaze also seemed to have different consistencies at some points: one day, it looked perfectly clear (like veg oil) and the next, it had a milkier look to it. As I'm staring at the bottle now, it looks clear again.
??? I'm quite worried - not about my drip-tips, but about the fact that if a q-tip can cause this sort of caustic damage to plastic, then what may it be doing to my throat and lungs? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
