Hi guys! Having a bit of a frustrating time with this. I know it's not your fault by any means, but I'm hoping you can shed a bit of light.
My friends that actually turned me on to your site placed an order a while ago...Not sure of the actual order date...but I do know that it landed in customs on the 9th of this month. Just last night, the status was updated to say that the shipment had left canada, and it seemed to be that customs has rejected the order from some reason and that it was being sent back to you guys...
So maybe to help the forum readers in general and to help out my buds, what happens in a situation like this? Do you try to resend the order? Are you able to get any more info as to why it was rejected, being that you are the shipper? Because they don't seem to tell the recipient much of anything other then the package is being returned.
The thing that I find weird is that he's received his shipments before, and so has his boss who turned my friend to your site, sometimes in less then 10 days.
What is Canada Customs problem?!?!? We just wanna vape :vapor: a nice tasty product!!! lol
Sorry for being long winded, just wanted to get the info out so we don't have to go back and forth sharing so many details.
Let me know if I'm over stepping any boundaries here, or just delete this. But this question was posed a few days ago and Audrey Schroder answered:
"Hi there. That is very frustrating I'm sure. If a package comes back to us sealed as it was when we mailed it out, we can do one of two things. We can issue you a refund for the products that you purchased but did not receive (once we receive it here). Or, we can resend the package and see if it will go through this time. We are unable to refund shipping expenses. If you want us to resend your order, we will gladly do that, but you would have to pay for shipping again. I'm sorry for this inconvenience, and wish that customs would have let your package go through. Please contact our customer service department via phone (847) 239-5374, ext. 200; live chat online at www.Vapor4Life.com; or open a support ticket here: Support - Vapor4Life We are open Monday through Friday 9 AM to 6 PM CST (Central Standard Time)."
If I'm breaking any rules by doing that let me know and I'll never do it again. It's just hard to not answer a question I know the answer to :)
Oops! Sorry for asking a question a second time. I didn't see it when I was skimming the other threads.
Any thoughts of getting a Vapor4Life supplier up here in Canada, so we don't have to wait for Customs anymore??? I think this would make more then a few people happy up here

Turtle, why don't you PM Audrey, or anyone in CS, and ask them to help? Each situation is different, and I know that Vapor4Life will do everything they can to rectify this for you. Please let us know how it works out.

You're all good. That post wasn't on this forum. It's good that it's here now too though. I don't know the answers to all of your other questions, so hopefully someone else will know those.

I will definitely have them do that, I just thought some other people may have run into this problem and it could be good knowledge to have here on the forum for all to see.
So does anyone know why Customs would turn around a Vapor4Life shipment to Canada?

There are probably too many reasons they could turn it away to know exactly which one it is. Without speaking to someone from customs of course. Just browsed their website and depending on what ecigs are classified as up there I saw 2 things right away that could have affected it. If they are classified as a "tobacco product" then there are requirements that the package must meet in order to go through. It's pretty much the same if they are classified as a "drug", except then the companies sending them over is limited too it looks like. Then there's a whole section on liquids. Like I said, there's a long list of possible reasons.
I really have no idea how to begin to look into that. Sorry. Maybe try contacting the post office? The Canada Post has a "Contact Us" page.
If you find anything useful be sure to let us know.
So! This whole thread was started because of my friend's concerns and they still aren't on the forum....But now...
My order was placed on the 12th in the evening, processed on the 13th, and it is now the 28th and Customs still has my order!!!!!!! I hate Customs!!!! Can you guys start writing "THIS IS NOT A BOMB OR AN ILLEGAL DRUG" on the side of the package? LOL  Come on...that's gotta work right?
So this massive delay has made me wonder....Any thoughts of opening up a Canadian distributor so I can get my products in a couple days like all you guys? :( Plus if there was a distributor up here I could have different shipping options other then the only $25 option I have now. I wouldn't mind the $25 if I was guaranteed to get my shipment...but $25 is a fair amount to gamble with if Customs may or may not let it go through.
They should write Happy Birthday,I got you new underwear!!
