So, except for Nailz, none of you more experienced vapers has this issue with pre-filled cartos?
I have a new batch of Vapor4Life cartos coming in next week, I'll see how those perform. So far I am loving the flavors of these Vapor4Life cartos - except this issue. BTW, what is the threading on the cartos - KR808-D1 or KR808-D2; I also heard that there are Gen. 1, Gen 2 versions for KR808-D1, very confusing.
I don't think so b/c it only takes ten's of seconds for the cartos to cool down, not an hour or 2.

I had to go to very strong flavors to feel like I was doing anything besides sucking air. However, it was wonderful on the first hits off a new cart and freshly charged battery!
I attributed it to my 3 month wall, where my taste buds decided to take a break on me. Went to really high flavored juices during this period (like menthol and now cinnablaze). Of course that was also about the time I ventured into tanks and then VV devices. Have not had a problem since.
I wish I could be of help, but you will find your vaping bliss again, it just takes time and experiments with different flavors (and maybe different devices).
Good Luck on your journey!
Haven't EthanH sir, but have a different theory. First a few questions- How long have you been vaping? Were you a smoker beforehand? If yes how many packs a day?

If you chain vape like I do, not only can the polyfill get dry near the heating element, the carto can heat up and vaporize much more juice at a time.
I'm not sure what your take on my comments are, but I recommend to continue to try new techniques. One of the major differences in smoking analogs and vaping is the often inconsistencies in vaping compared to the consitency of buying and smoking your brand of smokes. If you keep trying you will find your way.
I only used prefilled cartos to try new flavors before I decided on whether I liked the flavor or not, so I don't have a whole lot of experience with them. All of the ideas thrown out have sounded good to me. Personally if I vape a flavor too long it will lose it's flavor and I have to switch to something else and when I switch back the flavor is back. But that isn't with prefilleds and it doesn't happen in 30 min. So not much help to you.
