Hello all. I just received my Vapor Zeus and smileomizers and today is the first day that I am vaping with it. My overall first impression is that I really like the zeus and smileomizers.
Now to my potential problem (if it is in fact a problem). After a half day of use I began to hear the sizzling from the smileomizer without vaping. I know about the occasional sizzling/popping sounds made when vaping, but for some reason mine keeps on sizzling without stopping.
Thinking that I had an issue I popped in another smileomizer and without vaping, it began sizzling. I made sure that it was not leaking and wiped up the battery and the bottom of the smileomizer (just to be sure) and reattached it back to the battery. Low and behold it immediately began to sizzle again as if I were vaping.
My question to anyone is this normal? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Note: If I leave it sizzling the smileomizer begins to get hot. I really hope I did not break something already. *sighs* Oh and I just noticed that there is a little white glow that is displayed even after a charge.
No, not normal. Sounds like a stuck switch, so it's always discharging - which if you leave your smileo or cart on it will eventually run dry and burn. It may be the pressure switch, or just the switch itself if it's a dual mode.
Your best bet is to contact support (or likely Bham will be in to help on this forum), they should be able to take care of you right quick. Definitely DO NOT leave a carto or smileomizer attached to the battery if it's still doing that.

What really bums me out is that I work in Baghdad and had to order my zeus to a friends house who was on vacation and wait a long 2 weeks before he came back to work to deliver it to me. The warranty will end long before I get home to the US by the end of July. This really sucks, but no matter I still want to give this unit another try and will have to buy another battery. I will contact support and let them know of the situation and see what they can do, but the warranty paper that came with the unit was pretty self explanatory. Back to my vision spinner until I get this resolved (at least I have a spare system to keep my going until then).
DragonGunner, I am so sorry that your particular Zeus is having an issue, seeing what a pain it is for you to return it for a new one, but I am sure Vapor4Life will take care of you! I have a dual mode Zeus that occasionally does the same thing, but not all the time. I have yet to figure it out, but it has only happened once or twice. Not on a regular basis. So far, I have been able to use it by just taking the smileomizer off for a minute or two and not using it. However, in your case, at least until you hear otherwise, I WOULD not use it or keep the smileomizer attached to it.
Please don't give up faith, the Zeus is an amazing battery! Just as all things electronic occasionally there is a glitch. Hopefully, you will be back in vaping bliss in no time!!
Gunner, There is a 1 year warranty on the Zeus. The 30 days is for the money back guarantee. Vapor4Life is very good at taking care of their customers. Hope you're back to enjoying it soon.
First off thanks for your support. It is very much appreciated. I just finished charging the Zeus and now it only does it intermittently. I still think something is wrong but at least it usable for the time being. If I happen to see it on full time again I will make sure to remove the smileomizer before it has the chance to cook.
Thanks RoccoV for that clarification about the 1 year warranty. I will most likely use it then when I get home next.

Thank you very much BHam. I can see that vapor4life stands behind their products. Many times in this day and age customer service is quite the opposite. You have made a long time customer out of me and I look forward to purchasing other items from vapor4life.
On a side note the battery is acting up again so I will just let it be. As soon as I get home at the end of July I will make sure that I send this battery back to you so vapor4life can dissect it and try to figure out why this is happening.

DragonGunner, glad to know you will be back in business as soon as the replacement battery gets to you. I am so sorry that yours had a problem, since the replacement has to travel so far, but Vapor4Life is excellent about standing behind their awesome products!

True to his word BHam sent out the new battery yesterday. :thumbs: To me this is almost unbelievable. WOW! Now that's the way people should stand behind their products. I am utterly amazed and can't wait to get back to the US to buy some more products from them (more smiley's and another battery...perhaps the auto/manual one, and some cinnablaze). Maybe they will even have different tips for sale by then for the smiley's.
