Let me first say that customer service has always helped me in the past, and seem very courteous, which I very much appreciate. They sent me a replacement vapor zeus fairly quickly, and I am happy to be reunited with it.
But now the unfortunate events: When asking about the vapor zeus, I had told CS that I would be leaving the address they shipped the original vapor zeus to, and need it shipped to a different address if it could not be received in time. This was ignored, and I had to put my departure on hold specifically to wait for a package. As a result, I missed a family function. I was annoyed, but can understand that this sentence may have been missed.
Second, and this is what prompted this thread: My recent order (over $100) was held for a several days because they were out of stock of a certain item, and it took me a while to realize this (my fault). They needed my approval to put in a replacement before shipping. So while giving them an adequate replacement item (same email), I explained, with details, that I would not be at the original address, and if they could not ship to the new address, please cancel the order and I will place another one. Things explained in the email were: (1) I would not be there until August. (2) My mail has been thrown out or stolen in the past when left unattended. So, I was ignored again and the item was shipped to the wrong place, some 7 hours drive away.
I did put in a change of address at the post office, but it will not implement for at least a few more days I think.
Now I don't know what to do! The gas cost to go get the package is more than the package's contents are worth. And I am without any supplies for the next 6 weeks!
