DAV Battery not working
I finally bought a DAV battery kit and it came in the mail yesterday. I charged it overnight- the green light came on but nothing! Ugh....I was so excited about this battery. When I was charging it yesterday, the green light on the battery itself would not go off. None of my other batteries did that- so is that the problem? Is my battery fried? I did send in a support ticket- but being me....I thought I could get an answer quicker if I came here.
BTW- I have been on here for more than a year but haven't been able to post or reply. Finally today I signed in with my FaceBook account instead of the account I set up here and Viola!!!!! Here I am!! Thanks Harmony for suggesting doing a new profile cuz that is what gave me the idea to try that!
Lana, thanks for reaching out to us but I'm sorry to hear about the problems with your DAV. One question, did you try adjusting the post? The post is probably not making a connection with your cartos or charger and this is why it remained green while charging. Take a look at this thread: http://www.vapor4life.com/forum/t25/. It has tips on adjusting the post. With the DAVs however, the post can be a little tricky so try wiggling it up until you have a solid connection with the carto or charger. Also, plug your charger into the wall first. Then screw your DAV in. Chargers are notorious for moving the posts down. You'll know your DAV made a connection to the charger once it flashes when you're screwing it.
Okay...if none of this works, send the order number to my email at email@example.com. I'll be sure to send a replacement out :).
Wow- Paul from CS got back to me and the problem is solved. I didn't know I had to cliick it five times to turn it on...........DUH!!!
I was really impressed with CS so I big shout out to Paul!!!!!!! Thank you!
I have been a happy customer for about 3 years. I gave up cigs on April 17th -3 years ago and since switching to Vapor4Life I have been a happy vapor!
Wow, I didn't even think about that :P LOL! I'm so used to people using the Autos now, that I forgot the DAVs had an on/off switch on the manuals.
Vape away Lana!
I am so used to a regular manual that it didn't occur to me that I had to turn it on either! Live and learn.

Welcome to the forum Lana! Glad to see you out here :D
Also happy to hear your issue was fixed and you are enjoying your DAV
My buddy at work just learned yesterday that he could shut his manual battery off. He's had it for about 4 months and has never turned it off. Had it in his pocket and must have pressed the button 5 times on accident. He told me he was ready to throw it into the trash and buy a new one until someone told him about the 5 click feature. :D
