I'm a 3rd shifter, so good morning to you all, but goodnight to me
I'm on 3rd shift right now too and will be heading to bed shortly. Goodnight Nailz! Good morning everyone else!
I'm really enjoying this shift! I am so productive! Yesterday I went shopping and cooked. Today I paid bills! Hopefully I'll get my homework done tomorrow. That has nothing to do with shift lol!
Nigh on midnight here, sat watching 300 waiting for the fiancÚ to finish a Uni assignment that's due tomorrow
Good night friends
2nd shift here.. I hate getting up early and i hate going to bed early. It's the perfect shift... for a single guy. That's the big drawback for me. Lack of family time. This is why I skip a lot of work!
Afternoon here, but just got up, so good morning
I did 2nd shift for 5 years, and I hated it, I'm married with 4 kids, my wife worked 1st shift and I never got to see my family, except at weekends, now I am on 3rd shift, I have ever evening with them, I admit sometimes sleeping during the day can suck, but I would pick 3rd over 2nd any day.
Yeah my wife works 1st shift too. So I see her for an hour a day (lunchbreak) I worked 3rd shift for 6 months and my body just wouldn't adjust. Barely slept. I can't work days out here for awhile. Need more seniority, or take a drastic pay cut. I have 9 years in and you need at least 15 to win a bid for a decent dayshift job.
Good morning everyone.
I'm only doing 3rd for a month and only have a week and a day left. My normal shift is 2nd, but I'm training the new 3rd shift guy. I did 1st for 4 years and I've been on 2nd for 3 years now. I did 3rd at a hospital for 6 months when I was younger. I would pick 3rd over all of them! I love 3rd!
If I could pick, it would be 1st... Only for my family. My body likes 2nd shift. Speaking of shifts.. mine is rather boring tonight. 25 minute cycles. After loading a part with my hoist and hitting cycle start, I have 25 min to wait. Then I check diameters and repeat. Makes for a long night. I wouldn't know what to do without my phone and dav on nights like this!
Evening all orr better to say morning all..... It was a great day until the very end. Had my mom over for dinner to celebrate her birthday. Taking her home was a much different story.... I'm really at a loss for words for what went on tonight when I dropped her off.... Just don't understand my family at times....
