Welcome Heidi, the more, the merrier in this thread.
Stephanie, I've been teaching my daughter to drive since she was 5. So far, only with her in my lap so I can take control if need be. When she was 5 I let her steer my hooptie while it idled in my alley. She would of ran into 2 garages if I wouldn't have taken over. Last time I let her drive it was in my Scion xb, in a super small town (no traffic) she had a blast, and is pretty much a good steerer by the age of 9. Uses her blinkers and everything. I'm pretty sure your daughter is too old for the lap driving lessons. Just take her out to a non-populated location and have her practice while you tell her what to do.
Pretty busy around here today with all the preparing for my house to go on the market. Been mowing, and cleaning away. Wish we would have cleaned like this years ago, the house is so much more enjoyable now. Decided to burn up the rest of my vacation to finish up. Sad that I went through 3 weeks of vacation already this year and it's only July. Oh well, I can still take more time off, I just don't get paid for it anymore.
