Hehehee, my first filling effort, I only had a blunt needle and it was not good. By the 3rd time (and with a sharp) I had the hang of it. I still sometimes make a mess - forget to put a plug in, but not usually more than a drop or two. And it was the same with tanks; by my 3rd go, I had it down pat.
Yes, that's right: in Australia, vapour has a 'u' in it, centre ends in re and atomiser is spelt with an S not Z. .

I get a box of prefilled and a matching liquid and refill them.Nothing like having a few prefilled to pop on when you are in a hurry.
Been here since the start,I will always be a V4Ler. Here to help

I think the pre-filleds are good as far as convenience as everyone has stated, to find what strikes your fancy, but down the road, bottles are the way to go, first, it will save you money, second, once you learn, you will fill to your liking and it overall gives you a good grip as to what you are doing/using.

Also, TANKS, tanks are just the best, once you have exceeded your newbie state of vaping, you will learn about how tanks are just... a necessity!

So many variables in vaping, just read, read, and read some more, try, try, and try some more, and you will find EXACTLY what works for you, but I do believe everyone starts filling their own eventually, for obvious reasons

True.. You can go wrong with the cartos sometimes though! I just managed to toast my first one (a 3.0 SC). I was happily vaping away after the last refill. I noticed I was chain vaping a little, as the metal tank top was kinda warm to the touch. I had set it down and a little while later when I tried to vape from it again, I noticed a really hard draw all of a sudden. I unscrewed it, blew through the DT, and liquid came out the bottom. Hmm. I held it up to the light, and couldn't see through the wick tube, so I tried gently probing with a paper clip. After a slight resistance at one point (which I think was due to a bend in the clip, but not sure), I saw the end come up through the wick tube, so I pulled it back out, and verified I could see light through the tube. I screwed it back on, and the draw was better, but it clearly just wasn't working right anymore (it started tasting burnt). I'm guessing I overheated it or something similar....

I had vaped about 36ml (6 fills) prior to this happening, so I'm not bent out of shape given how inexpensive the cartos are (plus, brings me 1 step closer to ordering again, and getting some of those new 2.5 DCs!)

You drive for a living? I never would've guessed!! Lol! I bet they do appreciate it!!

I agree with just about everything everyone said! Each has their place. I like the prefilleds for their convenience and trying out new flavors, but I love the taste of a fresh filled blank carto!!

I PREFER pre filled but have never tried the juice though it will be a year in july since i have smoked the "REAL" thing! I LOVE my e cigs and will never go back! AFTER SMOKING for over 50 yrs, pre filled carts and the cig shaped batteries suit me just fine....although i now order batteries in all the pretty colors V4Life offers(the colors are my first step into trying something new) LOL I LOVE coffee and peppermint with a peanutbutter cup and Bananas Foster carts thrown in for variaty every once in a while...its all good and as always i beleive in the saying "different strokes for different folks"

This is what I do, I buy prefilled cartos and refill them with the same juice (most of the time) so I know what the heck is in them. The tank is awesome but I haven't vaped enough in the past two days to fool with it plus I don't like leaving the house with it, it comes apart so easy I'm afraid I'll lose something off of it. The juice is better but I think it's because you can top it off to keep the flavor full.

Blue, I find that not every carto is 'perfect', the other day I put a fresh one on, and filled it accordingly, tank and all(I use 3ohm) and got a burnt taste after second draw, bad carto.

Yours sounds like it burnt a hole in the middle, that will destroy it, I guess sometimes these things happen, which is why I STOCK UP on replacement Tank cartos
