    Weird ego...

Got my new egos on Friday...and started charging them...ONE IS STILL NOT CHARGED...all it does is make the slim line charger hot to the touch, and the button light comes on and stays on untill you press it 10 or 15 times...it doesn't blink on/off at all...and sometimes weni check on it, the button light has come on and glows steady....s this something I can fix, or do I call CS tomorrow morning? I DID NOT leave it on the charger LAST night, as I was worried about explosion/fire/screwing up my charger(s)

Well don't put it back on the charger. Even I know that! LOL

I have purchased the V4L egos, and must say that I have never had a problem with the Ego batts themselves, but the slim lines do get very hot when charging them. I never really worried to much about it, however I do not let them charge when I'm not home or sleeping. I'm no pro, but it seems that maybe the switch is sticky. I'm sure someone else will be along soon that knows a little more. I would just call CS and get a new one.

Thanks mr shank...but it is MORE than just a sticky switch...60 hours on the charger, and it STILL isn't charged!!!

Via, for the heck of it, I reviewed Morandir's test info on the Ego. He has some good info here, especially about leaving the device charging while unattended...so that was smart of you and Shank.

(Here's the link for the Ego Tech Data, fyi)

Ms. Via sounds like a bad ego. Stop trying to charge it, and contact cs.

Yes, sir, I sure did! I was afraid that if I continued to charge it, it might go BOOM! So, called CS...took all of 30 seconds to get it taken care of! Gotta love CS!!!
