    Super Moon 8/10/2014

Super Moon 8/10/2014. Hand held, 400mm telephoto with a 2X extender (800 mm.) ISO 320, f/13, 1/250th. of a second. Canon 7D. Not too bad for a bald, old, senile, fat guy.

Blue Moon, you've got me singing the blues, without a love of my own..........

Messing around with a photo of tonight's Super Moon (8/10/14).
This is a Hand held shot, 400 mm lens, a 1.4X extender, and a 2X extender stacked together. The exposure was ISO 640, f/18, 1/400 th. of a second, with my Canon 7D camera.

    400(mm lens) X 1.4 (extender) X 2 (2nd. extender) x 1.6 (camera crop factor) + 1,792 mm lens.

I just Had to mess with the photo by shooting with a white balance for Florescent lights an then adding a lot of blue into the photo in Lightroom. That way I could do the Blue Moon song.

Not too bad of a photo for that much magnification. Especially for a man that had a stroke a year and a half ago.
