Juul To Offer Lower-Nicotine Vape Pods
Best Juul Alternatives
Update 10/25/2019: Juul compatible pods and Juul Mango, Fruit Medley, Cucumber or Crème are no longer available on the US market. If you are looking a for a nic salt alternative to your favorite discontinued Juul flavors, check out these resource pages:
If you are looking for more flavor options, the Vuse Alto, MyBlu and a wide-range of Nic Salt disposables still have the sweet flavors that adults prefer.
Juul, the company who single-handedly launched the vape pod craze, has announced it will start selling Juul vape pods with lower nicotine. The announcement comes after ongoing backlash from critics who believe the current Juul pod nicotine content is too high.
There’s a catch, though. The new 3 % nicotine Juul pods will only be available in two flavors: Virginia tobacco and mint.
CEO Kevin Burns said Juul “wants to meet the needs and preferences of adult smokers who are on their journey to switching from cigarettes.” He added that they hope lower nicotine strengths “will continue to allow adult smokers the ability to explore what is best for them.”
Offering just two flavors to start could limit Juul, especially due to the prevalence of Juul-compatible pods already out on the market. Add to that the fact that a recent study by the Centre for Substance Use Research found that “flavored e-liquids may play a role in getting people to quit smoking.”
If you’re not lured by the prospect of lower-nicotine Juul pods and prefer a bigger — and more affordable — variety of flavors, you may be better off trying out Juul-compatible pods.
One can’t help but think Juul is trying to catch up with a trend that it started.
At Vapor4Life, we already sell Ziip pods in a variety of flavors and nic strengths. These Juul-compatible pods snap right into your Juul device to quench your nic cravings with a flavorful experience.
