This is a guest post written by Morandir835, an e-cig enthusiast, admin on the Vapor4Life forum, and a regular on their ECF sub forum. On December 23, 2011 I celebrated my one year vapiversary. Thanks to all the chaos going on around me, I wasn't able to blog then as I had hoped. Now that everything has settled down, I figured it was time. The Beginning My journey started in October, at a mall kiosk. I had heard about ecigs on the radio and a few other places but never tried one. The salesman did his best to pitch me an overpriced 306 unit. I wasn't a fan, but saw the potential ecigs had in allowing to me make the switch. I spent the next week combing the internet and then placed my first starter kit order... Research Failure. I had bought an e9  kit from a very popular site, but the battery life was
terrible, and the new cartos had an awful flavor and draw. I headed back to the drawing board, and purchased a 4081 starter kit. It was better than the e9, but still didn't make me fully switch over. I finally decided to take the plunge  by reading posts on ECF about the best ecig on the market and who had the customer service reputation to back it. On the night of the 20th, I placed orders from two different companies. One was for a 510 kit, the other was from V4L. The V4L  package arrived first on the afternoon of the 23rd. I still have that invoice and original starter kit box beside my computer. It was order #118445. The Premium Nuport flavor was okay, but lacked something. I also ordered five boxes of Nuport WOW cartos. In the morning on my way to work I put one on my passthrough, and the rest is history. Testing The 510 kit finally did arrive three days later, and while it never got used much, it did start the ball rolling on my expedition to try every type of ecig on the market and test the differences between them. In the end though, no matter what else has come along, I still use V4L's Vapor King Diamonds  and Stealths, and am still in love with Nuport WOW (though I do have a few other flavors in rotation). I've tried a lot of mods, even own a few, but there's something about the look and feel of a Vapor King Diamond batt that no larger-sized item can compare to. Thank You A big thank you goes to V4L, the people on its ECF sub forum  (especially Ms. Keyzy, Ms. Mary Kay, and SnowDragon  sir for being the three people who drew me in), and all the great people who are on the V4L forum. You made making the switch easy. Although looking back, I'm happy I didn't find you first, because if I had, I don't know if my obsession to test everything would have ever come to be.
