The joys of being a vaping mentor
This is a guest post written by Morandir835, an e-cig enthusiast, admin on the Vapor4Life forum, and a regular on their ECF sub forum.
For e-cig vendors, the new year is always one of their busiest times. Quite a few people make the new year’s resolution to switch from analogs. This means there’s a high influx of new vapers at the start of each year. What it also means is there are more new people joining the forums or any social media outlet to find out all they can and make the right decision with their first foray into vaping.
The only thing better to me than helping a new vaper on the internet though is getting to help one in person. I had the chance to do just that the other night when my wife’s co-worker and friend came over with her Vapor4Life starter kit to get hands-on instructions on how to fill cartos, proper battery care, and of course try a few flavors. She even got to play with a few of the mods in my possession. We pretty much held an in-house (literally) vaping class for her, and she left with more knowledge than most people have after a month of vaping.
What stuck out most though was her sheer excitement over switching. No matter how long it’s been since I’ve made the choice to try e-cigs, seeing someone else when they first start brings back all those feelings. The only difference was I didn’t have anyone in town to show me the tricks, tips, what to get, what to avoid, etc. It’s one of the best ways to give back to vaping. So if you have a friend or relative who decided to pick up a personal vaporizer as their new year’s resolution reach out to them. A little help can go a long way.
