A few of our customers have been making some major milestones lately. It all started with Mary Kay from the E Cigarette Forum (ECF). She celebrated her 5 year "vaperversary" this past May. That means she's been vaping for five whole years! Then a few people posted on our Facebook page that they've been vaping for 5 years, and another lady said she's been tobacco free for 13 months. Scott is one of our customers who recently celebrated his 5 year vaperversary too. I saw that he posted about it on ECF and thought it would be fun to hear his story.
Scott smoked for 32 years and was up to 3 packs per day. When climbing the stairs became a chore, he knew it was time to do something. Scott first learned about vaping online. The first e-Cig he started with was a product from Premium E-Cigarettes. He said he has to thank them because the last cigarette he smoked was right before trying their e-Cig. Then he found Litecigusa and used their products for about 4 months. After that, he discovered Vapor4Life and has been vaping with us ever since.
Some vapers mix e-Liquids together to create new flavors. Scott prefers 6mg (0.6%) of nicotine, so he mixes equal parts of 4mg and 8mg together. His favorite vape flavors
are the only two that he uses which are WOW & Premium Traditional Tobacco
, and Wowbacco
Scott uses the Vapor Zeus and Smileomizers exclusively and said he has no plans of changing.
Vaping in Public
It's always interesting to me to find out if people vape when they're in public. Some people have no problem with it and use their e-Cig pretty much the same way they used to smoke. Scott doesn't vape in public, and only in front of people, he's comfortable with. He said, "Humans love a good witch hunt."
I'm afraid he's right, but I do think this will change in the future, as more and more people become aware of vaping.
The thing that Scott likes the most about vaping is that e-Cigs
have no tar or carbon monoxide. Since he started using vaping, the stairs are no longer an issue. He can even take them two at a time now without any problems.
Scott's advice for new vapers is to just go for it. He said to be patient enough to find out what you like because the end results are worth it.
